I feel for you Queen...not long ago our AC decided to stop running and even though the AC guy got here the next day, it felt like next month when I was sittin in a house that was over 100 degrees inside. Heck, I went outside to cool off.
Although, I would much rather be hot then cold so I feel for you too Bonami.
And finally, thanks G.v.P. for that tid bit of umm well I will have to read and reread that to fully understand it, but I somehow feel it has a hidden message in it...as if I were to read it backwards an it would tell me to go kill blues or something.

Yay...............$129.00 later thanks to bubba and jeb bob our air is functioning again ! :) It will probably take some hours till the house temp in here reaches some comfort zone level again..but yessss it's workin. Was no fun tryin to sleep in a fryer temp house in here, last night. Anyhow it was the inner coil outside in the ac unit needed flushing of debris..it shuts off auto to save it ..if its full of stuff in that coil and only ac guys can ..get in at that part.

Poor guys are frying, in the outdoor heat and inside heat, and their next job is oddly an a/c unit that isnt working.. in..an attic GAH !!

Ye might wish to fly some other airline if you are going to be flying any time soon.

As predicted the mechanics are on strike. Hubby works for Northwest and they been dorkin with peoples pay and retirement benefits for years as it is. That airline still owes us 30k from a prior *wage cut back* that they vowed to all that they would pay back from early 1980's per employee per unions from flight attendants to pilots to ticket agents to mechanics all of whom have co operated taking massive wage cuts many a time before, only to get slapped in face in the end anyhow by decisions of ceos making 4x as much per year, sitting in cushy chairs.. on top of the hierarchy of the company.

Anyhow yes oil and gas prices are rapidly rising so they want or need pay cuts now again..but they been whittling away at every thing for decades now per union on all their employee base even slashing retirement benefits to about nothing. So nwa isnt getting a lot of co operation atm from any of its people.

But some of these muckymucks at the top earning 300k ++ a year sure do not take an wage cuts their own selves ..natch.

Anyhow the replacement mechanics have had anywhere from 2 days no hands on training to 2 wks hands on training to..replace mechanics that been mechanicing for 30 yrs or 20 yrs or 10 yrs etc.

Soooooooooooooooooo freedom of choice who ye fly atm but ye may wanna fly someone that had people workin on the mechanics of ye jets that know what the heck they are doing or at least knows the jets bulkhead from it's wingflaps !

I have never flown with Northwest...only Delta. Have allot of flyer miles with them from trips I took a couple years ago. They are getting ready to take them away from me because they are only good for 3 years, which isn't fair!

Why would NW keep taking and taking from their employees and not start from the top with the big money people first...I bet they get those big bonuses, expense accounts etc etc etc. I am just courious how they mess with the retirement accounts? I have rolled over a retirement account from a job I worked for 10 years into an IRA because I left the company, but when I was still there they matched my 6% dollar for dollar and it was with a seperate company they used to handle their employees retirement accounts. I know different companies handle things differently from one another, but it just blows me away to think they (NW) would do that. I would strike too! Oh and the thought of getting on a airplane knowing some possible jackleg was working on it..umm not this girl! I have flown allot in my lifetime and been through some storms and bumpy rides and thought I was gonna die...umm yeah, that was just in my flipped out head at the time, but very scary just the same...those $3 little bottles of Rum came in handy.

I HAVE to fly in a few days and unfortunately the only airline up there to get us to daughter's wedding is..northwest. WE were going to drive up but ..now she changed it all and during this strike..BLEH her dad wont get the new days off for this thing. oh well . . and yes 2 or 14 day wonder mechanic workin on the jet I will have to take up there *and back home* IF there even are any open seats to take up there...preferrabley attached TO the plane inside !

"The Original NWA: Eazy E's Groundbreaking Group, before Ice Cube's Departure"

Coincidentally, when Xotche gave me a ride to the airport after GenCon on Sunday, there were a group of NWA employees picketing at the passenger dropoff point. Im not real informed on what exactly theyre picketing about or even if it's warranted. Corporations can be evil, but unions can also be greedy. Nonetheless, I gave them a big thumbs up as we drove by. I was glad to see people, Americans, exercising their constitutional rights. They all gave me a hoot and one yelled his thanks. Airports are busy places with people literally running back and forth, always in a rush if not late for wherever theyre going. It was a rather warm day out. Im sure I help lift their spirits with my show of support, they certainly lifted mine with their show of appreciation.

That reminds me of an episode of Weeds I just saw ... she is in the hoopde and pulls up to these two guys playing rap really loud ... she cranks up her awesome system to ... NPR LMAO!!

Okay who is here has a "respectable" car and a kicka** stereo? We have a quiet Chrysler sedan ... with a top of the line system and a penchant for Green Day LOL! Getting old isn't quite as bad when you pull up next to a college kid in his Metro (nothing wrong with the Metro just an example) who has it cranked and then us old folks pull up blowing him away. Its soooo hard not to die laughing (that ruins the cool factor you know LOL).

We blew a speaker though
is that sad or what??? In fact, it was Green Day that did it. I was going to get it replaced but i am thinking about getting a hybrid. They come with mp3 players now too ... six cd changer and mp3 player. And I think some come with a free subscription to XM for like three months. It's a mid-level speaker so Seal is completely out now in the car

Fog lights ... no. Spoke wheels ... no. Wheel locks ... no. More buttons for me to play with and hear music at loud volumes? YESSSSS!!!

The day has come for Mondain to rise, to celebrate a too late legacy realized. Elves out of the woodwork, frosty and bloody. I guess they aren't shocked? Been living under our rocks in a tree? A tree? We passed this by a thousand times the RP lines are wearing thin, our EM quit to birth new kin? Yew resolved without a win. Two PM EDT Ches goes down while we wait and see just how many things will fail, wait the night without a single exhale... wake up in front of a blinking screen, power-save mode to save energy, the date the 31st and Mondain still stuck, pre-orders extended 'cause EA ju$t can't get enough...

My prediction is eight o'clock although that's sketchy. I guess the main question is, who gets what first? Everyone stringed and strung out, EA puppets divided in nine directions, mirrored five ways, Champ Spawns fading? Just a recall away... away... brief moments of solitude as all gather who can gather, all come who have ordered, where the others stop to say things in UHall, to rant and cry as they try to kill UO once and for all... we begin to repeat new cycles on an Elven beat, new scores and tracks, new packs and instincts, new slayers and mazes, changelings in phases...

Dogs and dragons walk the world, Luna bank fills with pearls, the ocean not big enough -- the fish plant system and the new cook buffs. Archers empowered as if their hour of control was not already so ominous and easy -- nox shots and balanced bows, all other professions have lost all control.

PvP like Latin and Punk and Grunge, all dead, cliches rest in our heads and we're led by the leash of EA, PvM tactics, hooray... living for the guild, the hunt of the peerless... trying to kill, the creatures are fearless... impossible, maybe, sustained game play... I like a challenge but single player is more romantic... I could shut my ears and eyes and live in lies to reject any new found tactics and way to beat the new creatures who roam our implanted streets powered by quests in chains and chains, recalling our newbs and our vets, around for countless days... finally using some of the land that was never used before... accessing all facets with open doors...

But oh how I could dream a better false reality, and the payment in my mind... sleep, the cost of dreams... but could I leave this behind?

I'm addicted to their history and I have made it my own... imprisoned in curiosity even though I have seen it all... greed for rented objects and lust for new targets to slay... although I want to rest... there is just no way.

G.! You are so deep!

On another note...I have been watching CNN for 2 days concerning the Hurricane that hit the gulf and it is so sad. Some of the stories being told are just gut wrenching and I feel for the people who live there and have just lost it all...some their lives. I just need to quit watching this, but I can't atm.

I feel bad for them too. I don't feel AS bad for those who chose not to leave ... the ones who thought they could ride it out. Now, resources are being used up to retrieve those who lived when those resources need to go somewhere else. Still, my heart goes out to those who lost loved ones.

IMO, if I lived here and a CAT5 storm was heading my way ... I'd be gone. Perhaps its the years of homelessness that made me realize what REALLY matters you can carry on your back or hold in your hand. It's so easy to get caught up in the material world ... I am totally guilty but in an emergency I would drop everything and take my husband and my dog and whatever we could pack in the car.

On a lighter note ... I have a confession. I like the Spice Girls. I saw Spice World again this weekend. I like it. I watch it whenever it comes on if I can. It's a guilty pleasure. If I was going to be a Spice Girl, I would be Scary Spice.

I feel better now

I have been unable to log in for the last couple hours or so and its getting on my last nerve...haven't had much time with ML and the time I did have, I spent most of it dieing.
I tried this morning to collect my new mount, but the promo thingy was down too! *shrugs*
The Spice Girls? Wow...its been years since I even heard one of their songs. I do have the movie, but its been a while since I have seen it. I have a thing for the movie "Ever After" and can watch it over and over...know it by heart.

I have finally stopped watching CNN most of the day. I catch it once or twice a day now and it still amazes me to see what is happening to those poor people. We have donated a couple cases of water to a local radio station who are filling a truck with it and having it driven down there as we speak. Wish we could do more, but I figure if a 1000 people did that then it would start to add up quickly.
I hate it when I hear people bashing Bush about this mess...that man is be damned if he does and be damned if he don't. Oh well...to each his own opinion I guess.

I am off to check the log in servers again BUT...look out! I might be back!

Well at least stone parrots don't leave nut shells and birdy doo on the lovely floors under their stand!

I'm not much of one to race out and get the lastest item only to stand in line with everyone else to get it. Normally I wait for the craze to wear off then get it cheaper and easier if I find I still want it. That's both an ingame and real world thing. Well anyways, I wasn't going to kill myself to get the parrot or any other stuff off those new monsters but just yesterday I was helping out my guildmates with dyes and such and they asked if I had a parrot yet.

Seems my blood thirsty spawning guild on Lake Austin has now turned to fighting peerless' and they have it down to a science so that they can even do a two man Paroxymus. (see what I get for not logging into ventrillo for a week?) So anyways, I was presented with a sweet golden parrot named Lemon and also found myself in possession of Paroxymus' stein, leftovers, sweat and fat which are kind of gross, but do fit well in my dungeon. Well, at least the parrot is cute. I now have motivation to work cooking so that I can feed him crackers.

Awww no... my sweet lemon isn't going to be eaten with crackers.

Now my mom used to have an absolutely evil one irl who sent her to the emergency room for stitches once and injured several family members to a lesser degree quite a few times. I had a bruised toe for a few weeks after one visit because he found me watching tv barefoot and took a huge chomp with that powerful beak. I was honestly terrified he'd maul or even potentially kill my kids when they were younger.

I swore if he ever hurt them he WOULD have been birdy bits on crackers. Fortunately, mom got rid of that beast and now has a much smaller bird who is quite well mannered.

What is wrong with fish? They are our sea-brethren. I have kissed fish before. There are many things we could do without in life but all the same make it much more endearing. Three of them are chocolate, tacos and deodorant. I had an idea for a new food item this morning - microwaveable curry on a stick. If corndogs and popsicles can do it, why not curry?

I want to go overseas this year but time is running out. Im so glad fall is almost here. I want to go camping this fall and stay up til 2am drinking good Texas beer around a campfire when it's 57 degrees outside. I want to wake up the next morning in my tent with a slight chill in the air and make eggs, bacon, sausage and pancakes in a cast iron skillet and use that really expensive maple syrup. You know the kind, it's real runny but so damn good. It's so expensive, like, 3 Canadians died hauling it out of the wilds and 8 barrels of it only yield 2 ounces of syrup. That may be funny, but sadly it's close to the story of oil. I didnt want to go there, but it happens sometimes. Kind of like getting dragged to a party you really dont want to be at but you get wasted anyway to pass the time. I hate it when people disrespect other ppl's stuff at parties. They pee all over the bathroom floor, throw cigarette butts in the backyard and leave bottles in the bushes in the front yard. That sounds bad, but Ive seen worse. Like the hairy midget riding a St. Bernard.

I have a friend who is an artist. He had one of his paintings slashed one time. It made him feel venerated that his work had elicitied emotion in someone to the point of slashing something, that he was now amongst other great, misunderstood artists, kind of like the whole angst thing. Im sure it made the slasher feel like they were not only the epitome of taste but also the guardian of true art. I think they both took it a bit far in their own minds.

I wonder if armadillos are edible. You could catch one and field dress it to just cook it in it's shell. Armadillos are strange creatures. Theyre really just like possums with a shell. Sometimes they can be cute and friendly. Other times you want to stay the hell away from them as they can also become demons with claws having a bad hair day skipping breakfast and late for lunch. I skipped breakfast and had a late lunch yesterday. Late as in 4pm, that's more like early dinner.

I was rummaging around my kitchen this morning and found my old rotisserie oven. I havent used it in like 2 years almost. I think I shall make roasted chicken tonight. Perhaps with squash or mushrooms, sauteed in olive oil. Olive oil is such a wonderful oil. I love how olive oil is advertised as "extra virgin" in the store. As if virgin before wasnt good enough. I could take this in an evil direction, but I wont. Now I also see "extra, extra virgin" olive oil. Now Im rethinking my dinner plans, perhaps chicken florentine? You do not know cooking until you get past a box with instructions gentlemen. I went to a Belgian restaurant recently. It was like a [censored] child between German and French cooking, except it got all the ugly looks and none of the good ones.

If you could go back in time and live the life of Rick James* or Gene Simmons, who would you pick?

*one wonders how or what others browse at during work hours*

Rick James was before his time in style and music. His influence did have potential and helped evolve others in their talents. But I would decline on living his life again. Had it not been for Dave Chepelle most people would have forgotten him completely.

Gene Simmons- he led the American dream. Immigrate, go into rock-n-roll, become famous, rich and live with a Playboy bunny for many years ( he doesn't believe in marriage, my kind of man
). Like Rick his style and pazzaz was way out there but Gene and the group KISS kept it going for generations, something most rock bands cannot do. Yep, given the diversity, talent and lifestyle, I would pick Gene.

Gene Simmons for sure! He was so hot in those foot high thigh boots! Not to mention the thing he did with his tongue when on stage. I grew up with KISS and seen a concert or 2 back when we the public didn't know what they looked like yet. I must confess I was also one of those teenage girls who had David Lee Roth's poster taped to her celling over her bed and Tiger Beat Magazine's all over her room...also in love with Lief Garrot(sp), and Shawn and David Cassidy, oh and can't forget my mood ring!

Thx for the recipe Lissa, but can you find one for "in the shell" cooking? There's often no skillets growing on trees in survival situations!

G

Speaking of survival situations, you can eat acorns with some preparations.

First, take off the woody caps. Then mash the acorns into a paste using a rock. Rinse the acorns several times, this removes the tannic acid making them more palatable, not to mention your intestines wont hate you. You can either eat the paste or try roasting it next to a fire to bake it a bit.

Also, to dispel a myth, you can eat ants but theyre not worth it calorically unless youre in like S. America or Africa where theyre big, pulpy ants.

If you have to choose between a gallon of water or a loaf of bread, always take the water.

G

Guest

Guest
Well if its edible and there's no skillet or ingredients available, why do you need a recipe in a survival situation?
But I suppose I can make one up.

1 armadillo, dressed and clean
1 sturdy stick
1 small fire

Cut Armadillo meat into chunks and skewer on stick. Hold over fire, turning slowly, until cooked through.

I ate an ant once and it was kind of hot. It crawled into my sandwich at a picnic. Tiny crunchy little things, seems like they'd be an awful lot of work to make a meal of them.

Now that armadillo recipe does sound great. I'll make sure to whip up a batch for our next redneck reunion.

Speaking of which, in a very scientific and accurate survey, players (in a mostly teen male guild - but pretend you didn't read that part) overwhelmingly agreed that the next UO expansion should be "Rise of the Redneck." Heck, we've already got the squirrels for target practice and stew! Add in possums and armadillos and it would be the "ultimate" expansion.

OMG! Why the armadillo hate????

Having just moved here less than a year ago from Amarillo, where the Armadillo is king (well, not king but he was the mascot for their baseball team until it got disbanded ... Yes, baseball at Dilla Villa!!!) ... I can't believe all this armadillo hate and recipes.

The first time I saw an armadillo, I was walking up the hill to go home at night. I heard the scratchy scurry of ... hooves! But I didn't know! I turn ... there was this HUGE hairless cat! I screamed ... it ran. It wasn't a cat, it was an armadillo!

We used to see them all the time on the road ... they stay in pretty good shape due to their armor.

Speaking of roadkill, my brother-in-law is coming up for 10 days to visit and i'll be traveling the area with him. Thank goodness he will be driving because when he rides, he MUST identify every dead animal on the side of the road!

"Squirrel"
"Wolf"
"Skunk"
"Fox"
"hmmmm ... rabbit maybe"

I try and not think about them but with Mr Namethatdeadanimal in the car, it's hard.

Dead?!?!?!

My mom use to tell me that all them critters were 'meemees' (an affectionate word for sleeping) along the roadside because the asphalt was really warm at night so the animals come to the road to get their sleep. If I ever saw a bloody squished one she said that one was eaten by another bigger animal, poor thing must have slept too much.

In a survival situation, if it ever happened to you... GRUBS is grub.... just remember that term. Find them everywhere, under the grass, under tree stumps in the carcass of anything dead. Best eaten as a shortbread type cookie, very high protien.

Grubby cookies:
Take several scoops of grubs
wash if possible otherwise the dirt just adds spice and minerals
make a fire
on a hot flat rock sizzle them till roasted golden brown
grind them up into a flour
add a bit of water
form a ball of dough, then divide into cookie
with your rock still hot on the fire
bake small cookie size dough ball
**if you were fortunate to find eggs from any species or pine nuts, wild sage even wild honey this would make a great additive
**

Now I have actually tasted these, its not bad, kind of a bland walnutty flavor. Lived/ taught out on the reservation in Arizona for 2 years I paid attention to survival class. Guess thats why I always have my Swiss Army knife...

We didn't get to keep her very long. We found her tossed out like garbage in Oct. 2003 when she was just 4mos.of age. We took her in and gave her lots of love. Little did we know then that her fate would not be so great. She was extremely healthy until last March 2005 when they found bone cancer in her left front leg and gave her only 3 mos. more to live. She outlived that prognosis seen her 2nd birthday this past June and made it this long. But the fates and the bone cancer won yesterday.

When we found her, we noticed an intelligence and a zest for life in her unlike any animal or even human, to some degree, that we had ever run across in our lives. She had a special kinda of *spirit* that can not even be described ...almost like some spirit or angel sent from on high lived within her.

We named her Gypsy after an old Fleetwood Mac song. It fit or suited her spirit.

Gyspy
Fleetwood Mac

So i'm back, to the velvet underground
Back to the floor, that i love
To a room with some lace and paper flowers
Back to the gypsy that i was
To the gypsy... that i was

And it all comes down to you
Well, you know that it does
Well, lightning strikes, maybe once, maybe twice
Ah, and it lights up the night
And you see your gypsy
You see your gypsy

To the gypsy that remains faces freedom with a little fear
I have no fear, i have only love
And if i was a child
And the child was enough
Enough for me to love
Enough to love

She is dancing away from me now
She was just a wish
She was just a wish

-------------------------------------------

She got to live life in this world for only 27 short months, and she has danced away from us now.. we gave her all the loving any two human beings could give a pet, but nothing can beat fatal bone cancer, a monster that takes the lives of humans and animals as well, and today we grieve her loss. She has to be in a better place now, where she can run again..free of cancer and freed in spirit. We will miss her in our hearts for forever.

She lit up our days, she lit up our nights, the Gypsy that she was.

One of the most unusual things Gypsy did Sunday evening her last evening on earth, barely able to walk even; due to the cancer and inflamation in her left front leg and shoulder was her strange grand finale tour of the neighborhood.

She looked at my husband when he took her out sunday early eve bout supper time, gave him a glance and she exited the back yard. (Our neighborhood back yards all face an elemetary school and its huge acres of well mowed lawns and playgrounds so no houses behind any of us..just acres of play ground and fields well mowed for the kids to play soccer or baseball etc.) Now he totally freaked out thinking she was trying to tell him in her own way to *let her go* but no way would we just abandon her in her last hours. So he followed her ..and what she was doing.

Limping badly knowing she was in pain too, he really didnt want her walking far off..but she always did have a mind of her own sometimes. So my husband followed Gypsy..and she stopped at the gate of the house next door and barked. DaKota came running ..its a ****er spaniel..they touched noses thru the fence and dog talked to each other. They were buddies anyhow being neighbors.

Then Gypsy went to the next house down, and repeated the same thing..barked to Blackie ..a black lab he come to fence..they *talked* touched noses thru the fence and off Gypsy went to..the next yard. She stopped barked, and the two whatever kinda dogs those are ..shorthaired white mixed breeds looking like the budwieser dog..she repeated the entire thing..barked they come a running they talked thru the fence ..touched noses and off Gypsy went limping back towards our house..but she didnt stop there..she went UP the other side..did same sort of thing..said hello to Petey the jack russel two houses down from us on the other side, then said hello to Angel, Tiny and Fluffy..on the other side of that house.

My husband come back tears in his eyes and said Gypsy just said hello and I think she said a.. good bye to ever dog on this side of the street in our neighborhood that she labeled her friends. I had seen both missing so I was already in panic mode thinking where he go..where did Gypsy go.. and then seen em both heading back to OUR yard. And he told me what she had done..barely able to walk, yet in a chipper mood as if she knew she just had to bid hello and farewell to every dog on this side of the street ..and to their owners too, since many of they were out bbqing and so forth. Most to the neighbors know she had bone cancer and they all said..it was so odd like Gypsy was deliberately bidding farewell to...........the entire neighborhood.

We got a very beautiful sympathy card from the vet's office, there wasnt a dry eye in the place they said ..they all loved Gypsy ..something bout this dog touched the lives of so many with love, that ..we can barely fathom it. She is being missed by a lot of folks and their pets, and us as well.

Well to change the topic, sort of, have ye ever had one of those crazy days where you envision some bizarre rl obituary for your self. haha

I had one of those days today.

I was getting some items out of the refrigerator and frig freezer above to get lined up and ready to thaw etc. for dinner. So I had both doors open the frig and the frig freezer door at same time. I kinda bend down to grab a bell pepper in the frig. when sudddenly I am assulted by flying frozen foods from above.

I had this strange vision of me rl obituary and of course I feel whenever I rl dirtnap; it will probably BE weird bizarre if not ironic humor kinda death.

So suddenly head in pain I had this vision of my own obituary...

Middle age woman, in Mississippi, dies this day, from skull fractures from frozen pot pies and frozen hot dog packages, and finally becoming mortally wounded by frozen chicken breasts smackin her atop her skull ..as she tried to gather items for her dinner today.

Then I envisioned the entire nation chuckling over ..my obituary being slain by frozen foods crackin me skull open.

DANG I tell ya the corners of frozen pot pie boxes and frozen hot dog packages .............hurt like heck, but them frozen chicken breasts in a bag hurt even more ! I got a knot on me head from the frozen hot dog package/chicken package and a cut on me head from the corner of the pot pie box. WEIRD assult my freezer became...a sliding out of frig freezer, flying army of projectiles on the back of me cranium. ouchhhhhhhhhhhhh haha

OUCH me head !!

Surely ye have had these kinda days..of some vision of an utterly insane way to rl dirtnap by something rl happening to ya...DO SHARE......

That's good stuff Queen. I am sorry to laugh at your...umm...accident, but getting pelted with frozen poultry should keep me smiling for the rest of the work day.

QZ, I just read about your Gypsy! I am sooo sorry to hear it!

I remember back at Easter, you were telling me about your special furry friend and I had to stop you because you were making me cry! She touched so many people ...even ones who never met her in person.

I know I'm a litte behind the times but I am sorry for your loss.

Okay, I don't know about the rest of you but I am SICK AND TIRED of bad news all the time!

I am sure the world is messed up. I know our politicians are crooks, we are all being lied to, that people are poor, that people die, that people suffer, that everyone in the world hates the USA and wants to blow us up or make us suffer. I know life is NOT rosy.

HOWEVER ... do we need to hear it over and over and over? May I just say ... WTF?? Sorry for the implied language there!

Every day, I wake up to bad news. I hear of deaths and threats and prices rising and people losing their jobs. And yet, I get my butt up and go on with my day just like the rest of us.

But GEEZ!! You know, life is hard enough just to LIVE IT!! And then we are confronted with so much hurt and pain and HATE and ugliness that sometimes it's just too much!

Even our past times are tainted. Steroids in baseball. The drugs in football. Greediness in UO. Ugliness EVERYWHERE!

And then you get the it's all part of the plan speech from well-meaning people. WHAT PLAN? And why is it such a BAD plan??

The left vs the right PLEASE all they do is encourage more hate just for hate's sake.

I don't understand why people are so ... mean. I don't understand why people ... encourage hate and conflict. Everyone wants to be right ... at any cost.

I don't want to be right (although my husband may dispute that). I just want to be happy. I don't care what deity people worship as long as I can do my thing. I don't care what color people are or who they find attractive.

I just want everyone to just be sensible and considerate. I mean is that really hard? Oh and responsible.

Now that I have given myself a headache ... I am going to bed to dream of a world full of pretty things.

Ye been reading the Siege Perilous forums, again ? haha

Ye been watching CNN too much ??

IGNORE IT ! I sentance ye to spend 24-48 solid hours in Heartwood listening to elfy music and eatin lil red mushrooms, skipping along in the upper tree over Yew with the elves !

But nah seriously, some years ago I literally had had it with BIAS in the media, and all their harping and all their BS, and hypocracy from some of the biggest pile of news reporters and ..every one else nearly in the media. I SHUT IT OFF. Unless there is some breaking news that may be important, I do not even bother to watch the news any longer.

Oh and I do try from time to time to see if anything has improved ..NOT.

Wailing Banshees, harpies, hate mongers, people that gotta butt in where they are clueless to act like some judge jury and god over everyone else's thought processes or life styles. I seriously think some of the media especially ..globe wide loves nothing more than stirring the pot...like the kettle calling the pot black !! BLEH screw em all, try to ignore wailing banshees and hatemonger harpies so, shut it off ..they are all at times going off the deep end trying to toss *interesting* news our way but spuing out ..bias and hatred and ..bs.

THE FRICKEN world is gonna end some day, no doubt ..we wont be able to fix that either so meh ..some people just need to *get a clue, get a life* we arent living in a rl carebear world. . but when something NICE happens ever, hardly will they even hardly bother to make that or put that decentcy ..in the news.

NICENESS, kind acts, selfless caring for other humans, and generousity and truth are BORING to em *yet it too is out there in the world, but that doesn't make the prime time news nor their ratings go up !! When ya get OLD like me ya get to the point of just SHUTTING it all off and shutting them up that way. HARPIES and wailing banshees in the rl world and the media abound, one could get high blood pressure and ulcers listening to some of all their stirring of the pots and their bigoted biased .. news in the news... bs !
