In the interest of not having a thread locked which members of this particular shard's forum enjoy I am just going to have to ignore you.
Be assured it isn't an aquiesce. It's only me putting the better interest of this thread ahead of my own desire and very capable ability to get very nasty.
I know that for myself I would not even think of coming over to your shard's forum, getting overly sensitive then requiring someone to come back me up after regular posters gave assurance that it was just a joke, not even directed in my direction in the first place.

Where I started to post in it, is not of your choosing, it's of your whimp remarks and lame attempts to actually gather attention to yourself over a message board. Grow up and get over yourself.

Well, folks, we've seen some pretty good action so far! UOFaert came in early with a cheap hook, but Temut was quick to counter, inflicting serious damage to her ego and telling it how it is!
UOFaert kept on swinging with some more typical internet forum bull----, but Zynia, smelling the foul odor of trolls, came to Temuts aid! UOFaert was now flustered, attempting to trick Zynia and Temut, feigning blindness before things got out of hand!
Kafkant was then tagged in, but his efforts seemed to fizzle, with a couple repetitious jabs! Yet, UOFaert and Kafkant are now high fiving and licking wounds, preparing for another assualt.

Now where were we when this thread got side-tracked?
I'd like to hear a report from you guys as to whether this recent rain has affected y'all. My husband and I spent yesterday and last night (until 3:30AM) bailing water out of window wells, pulling carpets back, wet-vac'ing carpets, dropping towels to mop up water and running them to the washer to spin them out only to be thrown back on the flooding waters. This is something we just don't see much in WY. It got so chilly that we started to see snow at 2AM and I actually didn't whine about it. At least that didn't flood as quickly. So how about it; anyone else getting this?

I have enjoyed the rain, but last week was pretty scary. We are going to budget to have a storm shelter built or maybe build it ourselves. I'm currently researching that. It occured to me last week that even if the sirens near us did go off, we didn't have a proper shelter to go to. Neither do our neighbors.
The warmer weather has had me out in my studio a lot more, I am close to having enough work completed to call it a proper inventory. I still can't seem to work as quickly as some of my artist friends do, but I have to remember they have been doing this seriously for longer than I have.
I have also been enjoying the lake. All this rain has filled it up and it is so nice to just chill and let the kids play. I always meet the nicest people there too. Lakees are the best.
So what are you doing in game to keep busy these days?

Not me. Though I do have to say that the arse kissing comments were making me laugh. I think there was a huge misunderstanding and temu didn't understand what a teasing sense of humor you have. Heck! There have been times where you've nailed me good but I take it in the good-hearted nature it's given.
Would that be the same studio that has the black widow parked in the door jam? I still say kill the sucker! As for the storm shelter; BUILD IT! If you ever have to use it, it'd be invaluable. I've been through a few tornado scares and I'm thankful for my basement; even when it floods.
I'm patiently waiting for KR to come out before I decide what my future with UO is. If it weren't for the awesome people I've met in that game, I'd be gone already.

Yeah, here I was trying to have an intelligent conversation about the severe lack of female ettins in Sosaria and all this arse kissing crap started up.

OK, silliness aside. So sorry to hear you are flooded, Mama. We have been spared the rough weather here.
Two lawn critter stories to relate. First, Jane Doe is back. And sometimes a friend tags along. As the weather heats up, a doe tends to hang out in our back yard, eating and lounging in the shade. She's fun to watch. If she would eat more, I wouldn't have to mow as much. I guess. Other lawn critter story is my little dog and I kept hearing rustling noises in the leaves next to the chain link fence. I approached with caution and the square tipped shovel. Blasted snakes! But when I finally located the 'rustler' it was a terrapin, trying to crawl through the fence. It retreated into its shell and I put it outside the fence. An hour later I checked and it was long gone.
Oh, and some sparrows are nesting in the carport. I haven't yet decided if I am going to continue to allow it. Usually they figure out they aren't wanted and nest elsewhere, but these birds seem unusually stubborn. Somehow that seems ironic. Stoopid birds.

I'm not working with bunnies again for a while. I figure the litter of six all surviving for release is my contribution for this spring. Proud mama.
Deer are just so beautiful to watch. We have more building around us so much of our deer and turkey don't come around much any more. I guess teh big fence doesn't help much either.
Husband doesn't want to move. He'd rather hunker down and get a pool. Doh!
Oh and I almost forgot. This was a different black widow. I am fogging the house tomorrow. I had an incident just yesterday that cured me of my tolerance. The black widows here just don't hide and retreat like the ones in the desert! I like to drape a towel across my legs while working with clay and up crawls a widow about the size of an m&m. I flip out, stand up and she falls into the waterpan that surrounds the wheel... I smush her with a carving tool and feel triumphant.
Then I look around, there are several more nesting all over in corners behind and under shelving units. I'm like freaking out major. Egg sacks everywhere. *shudders*
We smushed the second and third ones we found, but I think this is time to get the fog cans. I had a lady tell me that if you seal up the garage good and do the attic at the same time you can get a lot of them.
I really don't want another bug man around spraying his poison but I don't think the answer is smushing them one by one.

Faerr is an integral and beloved part of the community here, and if you took the time to read the thread you'd see we have been razzing eachother since the dang thread was created... that's what we do here! And do so purely in fun amongst friends, without a single ounce of friction or negativity.
Yet, Temu comes over to criticize Faerr for her story (a story you had NO part of, mind you) and to tell "SheHitMeFirst" (a FRIEND of Faerr's!) that she's brown nosing her because she told Faerr the story was funny and she should write funny stories for a living?!?!?
Wha?? If you knew ANYTHING about Faerr (which clearly neither of you do) you'd know that she has a penchant for wacky random and downright hysterical stories like that. I get a kick out of it, and I'm sure that's the case with most of us. She's been doing this for years, and many of us love her for it! Shouldn't be too hard really, but getting the spell to act specifically on rolling pins would be the trick. If the spell were too general, we might have lots of things being pulled from butts. Not entirely a bad thing, I guess. Maybe I could come up with a similar spell that would pull people's heads out of their butts.

My parents are getting old.
I have to try to remember this. On top of just saying really weird things REALLY LOUD in public they are just getting old.
I have my mother out the other night. I open the driver's door of the car and get in. I try to unlock all the doors for everyone else. Well you can't unlock the door if someone has the handle of their door pulled out.
*sigh*
So she's shouting about how it's windy and cold and she wants in the car. I'm looking at her like LET GO OF THE EFFIN DOOR...
So I then have to get out of the car so she can hear me the whole time she's looking at me like I am a stupid person and starts talking blah blah blah while I am trying to tell her let go of the door.
So I shouted GET YOUR HAND OFF THE #$@ DOOR!!!
Then I was a bad daughter. *shrugs* I told her at least she wasn't in the wind anymore.
SO then the woman says "Why didn't the other doors lock, she wasn't touching her door huh? So why didn't HER door open."
"Mom.. it's a safety feature. Let's say you were sitting in your car and someone approached you and tried to open your door and you panic and hit the unlock button instead of lock. This way they can't get in any of the doors. It's a well thought out security feature."
Geeeez. She then looks at me like I'm a big pile of cat poop or something.
Was a fun night!
