This place has been empty for damn near a month...what has happened to everyone...what has become of us? I thought we were tight...I thought you cared...you come in here and use the thread and toss it aside like yesterdays news. I for one am just sick about this....can't eat...can't sleep. Ok...scratch the cant eat cant sleep thing but I do miss the babbling.

This week it snowed like crazy. The kids got two days off because the roads were condition red over here but they didn't get to enjoy the snow days because they were sick. I haven't been out of the house since Monday afternoon, it's Sunday now and I am getting a major case of cabin fever. If it weren't Sunday, I'd go down to the village below and get something interesting for supper, but the grocery stores aren't open here on Sundays.

My baby has finally got away from that newborn look. Instead of the scrawny red wrinkly creature, I have a solid chubby watermelon. He started laughing almost as soon as he started smiling. It's a mix between a screech and a giggle and he flaps his arms and kicks his legs. Now that he can focus, I put "Veggie Tales" in the dvd player for him sometimes because the simple bright colors are easy for him to watch. He gets so excited over those shows and mommy gets a chance to use the toilet or get a cup of coffee!

Nope, sadly we don't have the older ones on dvd yet. The older two kids had watched those on vhs a few years ago but with baby here, we will be buying the older ones too. We have Madame Blueberry, Little Joe and another on dvd. I love the boyband styled bellybutton song on Little Joe. I laughed so hard and kept replaying it til the kids yelled at me.

Now if they could change it to the pirates who don't do anything EXCEPT play UO/sleep, eat/do schoolwork, then it really would apply to me.

Snow?! I hope its all over for us here. I keep looking at the 20th on the Calendar (first day of Spring)...yeah, yeah, I know that it really doesn't mean anything and it could snow well into April, but that rarely happens around here.

I loved it when my children were in that butterball/sqeeling(sp) stage. It really makes it all worth it when you are spotted from across the room and they just smile and start thrashing around all excited to see you even if they did just see you less then 5 minutes ago. lol

I tried the Veggie people on my son who will be 3 in May and he never did take to them. *shrugs* He loves Sponge Bob and just the Nick channel in general. He will watch anything to do with hotrods and the Dukes of Hazzard keep him watching (thanks to his father)!

This is a call out to Ommadawn! Where in the heck are you?! Surivior is on and I want to know your pick on the winner since you were right about last seasons winner.

Survivor ummmm Terry will likely get noticed before to much longer but at the moment he has my vote to be in the top 4 I hope that they get rid of Cirie soon something about her attitude puts me off my breakfast. However I think she will be kept like a pawn until she is no longer useful.

To be honest, I can't figure how a girl can clean with one of those little maid get-ups on anyway. I prefer an old tee-shirt and shorts, barefoot...I can get some serious cleanin done for sure!
Speaking of tee-shirt and shorts. It is still Winter here in Virginia, but it has been in the 80's the past couple days...sunny and just beautiful. Spent the weekend out on the lake and even got a little sun burn on my nose and cheeks. w00t!

As you said, temps near 80 and everything starting to bloom out. Now ?? Pfffft. March is a cruel month. It taunts you with whispers of spring and then.....WHAM !! Not so fast my friend. Oh well, it'll be here soon enough I guess.

But last weekend was fantastic. I spent Saturday in the yard doing some work. Finished up and had a couple of Mike's Hard Lemonades. Later some friends and family came over and I did some grilling. We all sat out on the deck till the wee hours of Sunday morning shooting Patron and listening to music.

They really went out and found some whack0s this time.
March is a cruel month indeed...freakin wind has been blowing for a couple days and the heat has kicked on once again, but I see the big yellow bushes (not even gonna try to spell that one) Fusithia?....couldn't help myself. Anyway, they are blooming and the stores have the Easter stuff out and thats all the sign I need. All I need now is the time change. Spring forward = longer days and warmer warmer warmer!

Casaya cracks me up! Shane is like a time bomb. I will give it to him tho, coming into the game a 3 pack a day smoker and quiting cold turkey...um until he seen that native guy smoking a cigarette and he fell right off the waggon. LOL

Yay, Ommadawn put in an appearance.

I am absolutely thrilled today. I was also quite reminded of just how messy my computer desk had become. About six months ago I lost a very special necklace. My husband had ordered a silver heart with a diamond on a chain and had it sent to my mother's house for her to wrap for me Christmas '04. He was in the desert and it brought tears to my eyes when I got it that morning. I was heartbroken when I lost it. Welp, today I found it under a pile of who-knows-what under the ledge of my desk. I really need to clean this more regularly!

Let me just say...
In the state of Virginia it will cost you $30ish for a marriage license and at least a grand to retain a good lawyer for a divorce plus if you have kids you must wait a full year for it to become final.

My mom told me to just shack up with him, but I didn't listen...me? bitter?...nah, I just wish he would trip and fall (in front of an oncoming bus).
