Ready for odd? Like really really freaking odd?

It mounts, but it won't dismount. Tries to mount the ethy while I'm riding the Cu. Still no bugs in the error log.
Tha cu must be cursed :lol:

My Mastery choice goes away nearly every time I log out of the game on all my characters that have masteries. I have to reset it each time I log in.
You mean that you have no active mastery at login?

I'd agree that the Cu is cursed, but the mount menu ignores my ethys as well on my production shard.

Yes, each time I log in, I have to open the Masteries book and re do the Mastery, the page that shows the mastery buffs is blank and the mastery icons on the screen are greyed out. No errors show when I log in. Does this on my tamers, my archer, my thunter, my mystic/mage, all of them with different masteries just lose the ability for mastery when they log out.

it must be related to a specific mastery, keep an eye out if you find out which one is cause the problem :)

It happens on archery mastery and chivalry mastery both on my archer, it happens on taming on my tamer, mysticism and magery on my mage/mystic, etc so not just one mastery. Also each of these mentioned characters are on different accounts, not just one account.

To add to that list, necromancy and discordance.
I tried to switch mastery, turn them off, login, logout and is always working, we need to figure out how to replicate the problem :D

Don't know what else to tell you, there are no signs, no hint that something is wrong, just sign off and get on another character or normal stuff and next time I log into that character it's exactly as Zare says, no error, no hint, mastery just gone like you had turned it off, get back into the book, reset it and it's fine til you log out again.

Have you tried with a new profile on TC and see if it happens there?

Bug with the targeting protection thing: You cannot target a rune in a container (other than your backpack).

You also cannot target a stealable inside a container for the same reason.

That cannot be done from the UI, it must be done inside the client... also it has been requested since KR got out so I doubt they'll ever add that feature...

I think I have an answer. Only tested a couple times with a couple characters, but when I log out and am still in combat, when I log back in, it happens.

I just logged out completely out of the game in peace mode and logged back in and when I reopened the game the mastery was still there, logged out completely and back in war mode and still had the mastery.

I lost connection shortly after that and I was in peace mode and when I logged back in the Mastery was gone but all the other changes to the game that I did between log outs was still there. I have a habit of losing connection so this may have been what has been causing it for me.

Edit 10 minutes later:
Lost connection - in peace mode - logged back in, this time only to log out stage and back in and had lost Mastery again, must be connected to lost connection.

Maybe its more due to not having a safe log out?

Is there any hope that the Pet Healthbars will ever start working again instead of just for a few minutes then stop updating completely? Mine does this on both my tamers on separate accounts and this has gone on for several updates and over a week now.

Is there a workaround that some of you have found? If so, please share .
I am having the same problem intermittently. Sometimes they work. Sometimes the pet health bar does not update ( but the training % continues to update), sometimes it's the monster's bar that either does not update or says no data.

Possible bug - when trying to delete a skill off a soulstone, after typing "DELETE" nothing happens. I have to switch to default UI to make a deletion.

You have to type it in Caps, it works fine for me, did it many times to get a char ready to train.

You have to check for errors when it happens otherwise is impossible to know what's wrong....
After it failed, I switched to default UI. The error pop up should be there, if at all, right? There was no error, and I was able to delete the skill under default UI.

Is that through EC Playsound in the system tray? I have a lot of things in the tray, but EC playsound is not one of them. This is with EC running and EC Playsound enabled:

Is there a way to make a macro that will strip the seeds, then the resources, then abandon a plant plot/bowl without having to do much clicking?

I already use the action to gather seeds and resources, I just want to be even lazier! :D

To do that I need to be able to read the amount of stuff there is, but with the current gump status it would be like guessing, so it's better to avoid that... try with a macro add a delay and loop 10 times :D

It's the blame game... you tell me, I tell them, they pretend no email is arrived so they won't answer and neither fix, and the cycle goes on and on, and day after day things gets worst... as long as they have money in their pockets they have no reason to fix anything :/

All this reminds me of this old movie:

Me too, in the new dungeon trying to keep up with helping/healing guildmates and their bar says 100% when they're badly hurt and then when I heal them it stays at 20% or some low number and doesn't change until several minutes later or they go offscreen or ? Frustrating to say the least not to mention embarassing to not be able to help and now we have the first aid belts which I thought would be terrific and don't work at all, complete chaos for me in Khaldun.

It's even worse when you are a tamer. No way to tell whether your pet needs healing or not.
And, for whatever reason, I can't even switch to default UI. After installing Pinco's UI and customizing everything, when I switch to the default UI, all containers are without grid (CC style) regardless of settings. Containers seem to be ok on a fresh install, but not so long ago I spent days re-doing the profile from scratch due to the UI updated, and I dread having to do it again.

I understand and empathize with your frustration. I have had a lot of resentment towards how things are handled for years myself.
However, I feel like what you are doing is trashing years of your very valuable and talented work. Healthbars that do not update are not a QoL issue. It is something that would prevent one from playing. I know better than to wait for the devs to do something. Fixing a mug that does not affect default UI is probably very very low on their priority list. So the only option for players such as myself is to revert to the default UI. And this means losing the years of improvements that you created. Whereas making the new health bars an option, would keep them around on the small hope that the Devs fix the problem, while letting us continue to enjoy what you created over the years.
I don't presume to tell you what you should and should not do. Whatever your decision, I'd be forever grateful to you for making a UI worthy of this game. However, I'd hope you reconsider.

As you probably know, the First Aid Belts don't work properly.
Do you have any way to adjust them and make them work or is this all a client side issue?

I get them to work sometimes and other times not at all and other times they just stop working at some point usually in the direst of situations.

I cannot use the bandages in them for my "heal a friend" macro. When you pull the bandages from the belt to reside in a hotbar, the icon is just greyed out and you cannot do anything with it. Same with pet bandaging, won't work.

If you put part of the bandages loose in your backpack then all bandaging uses the loose ones.

I probably will not wear it anyhow because it replaces what I already have as a belt item and the belt item I use is far superior to a mere 10% bandage strength increase, however I would like to use it in my backpack for the weight reduction.

I definitely remember Pinco saying switching back and forth between the clients, EC and Pinco's would mess things up bad. I have never done that after I read that cause I don't wanna mess mine up. I have some trouble with the bars but obviously not nearly as much as you do, mine have almost always been cured by logout and back in.

Mine invariably get stuck within 5-10 minutes of play. It's the same on 2 different PCs and with different characters :(

As said before, that happens because after a while the client stops receiving updates from the server. It happens on default and on CC too just at a different rate. The new bars works how the client was supposed to handle that, so if it stops updating it means there is something rotten in the client/server and I can't do anything about it, unless you have some errors causing the problem. There is no workaround for that, so either the devs fix the problem or I have no solution :/

it works for me, the only thing that is changed with this patch is that they added a couple of containers, nothing else... probably during the patch the game files got damaged if it crashes...

Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on how you look at it, in my case the client receives the updates from the server just fine under the default ui. The only times the default health bars get stuck is when I switch from Pinco's UI to default without restarting. Otherwise I had no problems under the default UI. So I can't even file a bug report or ask them about it, because in my case the default is working properly.

I don't know what changed, but it is working now. Tested both on my tamer and the sampire.

I'm going to suggest that the behavior of a mobile bar going purple either end entirely, or be toggleable.

Obsolete bars need to delete ASAP, not linger for any reason.
