Every time, and i dont mean some of the time, i Mean EVERY time, Cyn-D meets you in the open field, you die. You die alot, then die more. then like a tired worn out boxer, you quit on your stool. Lastnights fight was the Hight of Choke Point Charlie's absurdness. We got choked out in fire, but when you came to the open field in Serp's you were PA PA PWNED. Then on to destard, where you were PA PA PWNED again in the open field. And lets not forget the way we handed you your booties on Marble, till you called in Pacific. Not a few people, but litterally Pacific shard. LOL. Then this joke of a guild does what? Thats right folks... Its a 2 for 1 sale on choke points!!! They try and lure us to another choke point in Del pass LOLOL. nope, we aint having it. We werent giving you the choke in deciet either were we? aww too bad charlie.

Sending Mina to the gate to "Urge us" to go to despise was the kicker. All the kid kept talking about was show up to despise, show up to despise. Guess what Choke point charlie.. Your gonna have to learn to play in the field.

You know what I love best about FL? even if i go down in flames from a 6 on 1 gank, I always end up with more money than i came with. Why do you think that is? My guess is because i generally kill 4-5 per death.

What about the desert spawn we took last night or wait better yet the destard we took this am when you had rikky up were already killing it and had more people than us and you all still died. I haven't heard the rumor, and the alliance is fine. However, I just thought I'd share this snapshot with you. Take note of Mina's fine words. If that's the best your people can come up with, you've got some serious Prozac cases on your hands.

destard fight carried over outside, where you were pwnd. Cyn-d won the night. And as for the castle drop... HMMM what was that on the sideof the catle and in front of it? Oh yeah, a CHOKE POINT, covered in fields yay!

As for D loosing Cyn...

Its more likely that D would be absorbed into cyn than actually breaking alliance first, more or less due to the constant deteriation of the game, and player loss. Maj for example, and work for sam etc..most D members, about 11 active are pretty good pals with Cyn, considering alot were LLC that absorbed into D, after going to Atlantic, originally to hang out with Cyn there. the roots with most D members is deeper than you seem to think, with cyn that is. It would take a great deal of Arrogance to dismiss Dynasty members completely. It is the oldest still active guild in Fel ORIGIN.

Cyn is Growing. I think the remaining BTH members that have joined in are finding that they are welcome to cyn and D. The common bond of course is to decimate FL. As for my place in all this.. I dont really care where i am or what im doing as long as I am fighting. Ive made some good pals in Dynasty and Cyn, both are great guilds. Given the chance to talk to some of the BTH, they are all pretty decent people once they shed the Pubamoto image thats haunted them for so long.

Archers, yes archers.. well If played correctly Archers are one of the most fun templates to play in UO. Your a ranged Fighter, you can hit people on the run, effectively dismount people and mortal at range. I play my Archer like a mage, never allowing myself to think im a dexxer, and be toe to toe. I do not apoligize for playing such a useful and fun template. I do have a ledgendary mage which i play when needed. Its not nearly as fun as it is tactical to play a mage, but like i said, I dont care what I am doing as long as I am fighting.

I know you guys feel like your something special here on Origin. but your really not. You dropped D cause of your arrogance, and look where it got you. FL has a history of not being able to finish the job. maybe some UO-Viagra is in order.

Tonight was a prime example of your one dimensional play style. We did despise, and what did you do? you set up in the star room, without even attempting a raid, and then in a bold move, you all bailed out after being PWND in terra. NEWS FLASH!! blocking punches with your face is NOT effective pvp. It's Choke Point Charlie all over again. Look "Miss Thang", I gave you guys Credit for being Great choke point holders.. but thats all you are good at, infact your great at it, Ide even go so far as to call you guys " Choke Artists"

I dont know what FL does on Origin other than raid Despise. I mean I never see you guys pop a harry or do a spawn really. Maybe you should pop a harry to bring US to your choke point. Clearly, the luring us through sparkles thing isnt working anymore.

Im surprised frankly that you have a hold on Pacific at all. at no point in your time here have you proven to be able to dominate a dead and dying shard. Perhaps this small dose of reality will motivate you all to do something productive on Origin. Sending Mina tot he gate to die repeatedly is not productive. And frankly it makes you look bad. A skill you need no help in anyways.

Now, i dont know you personally, and im sure your a nice person and all, but these are the facts as I see them. Work on them, get better, then reply. and please dont forget to change your display name to " Choke point Charlie".

I give credit where credit is due, Blood Knight. There are players in Guilds i dont like, that are excellent ultima players. There are many who are Meat Shields.

My distain for certain guilds or players comes from the general purpose for joining those guilds. Take Mina for example, I trash on him alot because he joined FL simply to be on a team with mass numbers. this was before BTH members came into Cyn-D alliance. players like that make me sick. For most of my UO career I have gone with the Under dog. The struggle defines me, and the guilds i've been in. I like the uphill battles. LLC was a good example of that, and our stand on Origin made the shard what it is today, with Cyn now here, etc etc.

I dont think that Cyn-d is at an advantage in "the big picture" yet. we have a lot of new people tryingto adjust to eachothers play styles. We are comprised of many good 1v1 players who are comming togather slowly to form a unified team. FL has that teamwork down, but are seriously lacking in the one on one department. You are one of those exceptions blood knight. Maybe you can help your guildies with that.

It shows on the field, that what i am saying is accurate 100%. FL tries to tactically force us into choke situations where thier teamwork is most effective, and Cyn-d tries to seperate you where we are stronger, and more effective. The balance of power has shifted as we become more coheisive.

There are some good fights int he future, as wach side makes adjustments. I will continue my spiels about Cyn-d pwnage, because thats the nature, of this Beast. And I think i give fair assesments usually. I do however treat my rivals as Enemies. Many people I have trashed *and have been trashed by* I am now fighting side by side with. The adjustment from enemy to Friend, is an easy one, My attitude changes with the Guild Tag , dont ya know

But as long as people are on the opposite side of the field, they can expect ot be treated as such.

Until we meet again, keep your DCI high, and your heal pots stocked, Croft out.

I can certainly understand the disdain for joining a guild simply because of the zerg advantage, and the rewards of fighting as the underdog, I myself was in a situation similar to yours back a few years ago. Guildmistress suddenly quit though, leaving us to find new guilds, but thats a story for another time.

If you have too many 1v1 players in a guild, eventually you might run into problems. The better someone is at pvp, the bigger their ego is, and the harder they are to keep under control and get along with. Thats why we don't have that many superstar players, the ones we do have are for the most part the exception. Teamwork and a friendly environment is the way to keep a guild up for years.

The adjustment from enemy to friend should be an easy one, after all, we are all just players in the same game.

Typical FL experience today..

Killed El Cid in Fire, rezzed him, healed him, told him to have a nice day.

Came back to despose, killed Nonya. Came back killed El Cid again, and Mina shows up, with akash. I have now encountered mina akasha nonya and Elcid, so I call in Leigon and Natas, to even up the odds, and four more FL come in. Naturally with 8 to 3 odds, we died.

Here is what bothers me...

El Cid, shortly after, Killed me on FL's home Island. Refused to rez, or gate me out, after i had been kind enough to do that for him and heal him, and leave.

Is this the level of Honor if FL or just a bad apple? That was pretty low, when i asked for the rez, reminding him of my kindness, he laughed and logged out.

Did he owe me? NO. Was he a Jackazz? absolutely. Dont even bother asking me for things back when they drop now. Ive had way too many bad experiences with behavior like this from FL. Zero Honor, Single dimensions. As a Guild, FL is an infection To Origin, and I for one am glad Origin finnally put its BS issues aside and came togather to begin eliminating the problem of FL.

There are many things I would change with how FL does its public relations, but alas, I am just a rogue who refuses to follow orders or even get into teamspeak.

In the end, the only way to fight people's horrible sportsmanship in this game is to constantly show respect to everyone, allies and enemies, where respect is due.

I can assure you its all the same way on pac. Open field their all toast, choke they do well with withering numbers. They will allow any trammie with the "cant beat em join em" attitude into their guild as long as they make a red necro although their fearless leader is always seen on a blue.

wow, last night was pretty intense. 18 to 9. FL for the zerg win. guess Cyn-D have work and stuff durring the week..

Again though, as is usuall, i got 4 kills to my one death. nonya twice, mina once, bloodletter once.

a serious question here... I cant figure out the math. how is it when you guys died more, we lost despise? error on our part or something. wierd wierd wierd.

Well, we were tryin to para gank you, but I kept accidentally breaking it, so when you ran into an enclosed area wolf and I blocked the only way out, though if it weren't for us you probably coulda ran half my guild in circles for a much longer time.

If it was a fair 1v1 fight, who knows what would happen.

If I pulled out my dirty tricks, then you would either have to run away or die.

Instead of fighting each other, lets just make a game of who's the better killer, where we keep a tally of who we kill, and whether it was assist, killshot, or solo. Assists are worth 1 points, killshots worth 1, solo kills are worth 4, enemy guild heavy hitters worth 8.

You boast a 4-6 kill to death ratio, I boast a 15 average kill to death ratio, and I haul in about a half million a week in kills if I fight every day across both servers.

I resent that. I have like 12 macros set on him. plus i am Raven De Croft, a mage also. but i dont enjoy playin her as much. Hey it could be worse, i could be a stealth archer.

Ya know why Mages hate archers so much? because they are too poor, or just not good enough to put a suit togather that has the mods they want, with high physical or DCI.

to play an archer effectively, is not easy. You have to calculate that at least 50% of your shots will miss the mark, even with max HCI. not to mention you have to swap weapons for the appropriate effect mount and dismount constantly, placing yourself in harms way. in form, out of form, etc etc. If you think Archers are a point and click template, your either playing it wrong, or have never played one at all. What Zerg guilds NEED are mages, no doubt. field field field, wither wither wither. I guess thats maybe why im working up my new Archer with a lil xtra kik!


You want to know why FL can field so many? me too. lets roll over to the Pacific boards a bit, and see how they are doing on thier home shard.

Cheri I think the point you miss is that we play 2 shards we will not catch every single spawn that is just a fact. When you did Oaks on Wednesday we had been fighting in despise for close to an hour. Just for Croft here that hour long fight was not over a spawn it was over us shutting down despise so it could not be popped and turn into a 30 man wither grinder to further allow the alliance on Pac to claim victory over a choke point. I was also aware of the fact that you were doing Oaks on Wednesday and choose to stay in despise on Pac as that is our home shard and at that point in time was more important.

The bottom line is Croft &amp; Larissa have taken every opportunity to flame us on stratics on both Pacific &amp; Origin forums you get back the respect that you give. This harrower last night is a perfect example of why one should be careful on how much sh*t they talk least it get tossed back in their face. Between the 2 shards we have taken 4 harrowers in the past 10 days - now call all the names that you wish but when that harrower started last night we had 14 people to your roughly 24 - by the end of the harrower we had the same number of people.

Dont post about hurt feelings that we flamed you on this harrower for you only have Croft to blame because he is King of flamers.

Whats going on on pacific is gonna affect origin one way or another Pacific is FLs home shard they have more players on pacific then origin. all of FL's chars here on origin are alt chars. whats gonna happen when they move here to origin full time? and considering I play both pacific&gt; and origin and fight FL on both shard regularly and have fought FL longer then all you folk here on origin I figured It would be good news to the pvper on origin. Our alliance on pacific Has FL backed into the corner and were not even organized yet and and once we do they will be on this shard full time. I also feel if you have an enemy on 2 shards then you have to battle on both shards be it physical or verbal. Moral is a big factor in guild PvP and so far on pac were doing a great job at crushing theirs.

Pot callin the kettle black eh? and yes we lost a harrie the other night well we poped it. it was our first as an alliance and all of FL were already there withering away and we almost took it too. We had no map/TS and had to call targets by alliance chat.

I play two shards as well but you dont see me complaining lol.. Sounds like you can barely hack it.. Maybe we should ruffle your feathers.. If what I've seen recently on pac is crushing us and sending us running to origon (thus relevant for these forums), then you have an odd definition of crushing.

I may be a bit of a negative, opinionated, and even sometimes insulting poster, but I think I can be believed on the following.

Both shards of late have been putting up noble and strong resistance to the Empire, the fights have been becoming intense and interesting. On neither shard do I feel we are in danger of losing our dominating posistion, though we can not claim to be winning every fight now, which is a good thing. Victory has to have a price if it is to have any meaning. If we win every fight, there will be no fights, and if we let ourselves be defeated by a few lost battles, we wouldn't be who we are.

Heeh, my feelings arent hurt, I showed up when the push was for getting the harrower back. That wednesday night line up on CBS had me watchin tube with the family till like 9:30.

Look, im vocal, deal with it. Im not gonna sit here and say things i believe to be untrue. Last night Cyn-D got a good old fashion down home alabama ass whoopin'. Its been said. But again, I point to the choke point charlie. A group of necro mages holding down a necro macro does not mean that anyone has particulaly good fighting skills in FL. It means you can follow directions, and do as your told in an orderly fashion. nothing more nothing less. We pushed you out of your choke point, and back to the harrower itself. Do you know what that means?

It means we are getting better at disrupting your choke points.

Our flaws were OBVIOUS errors. too much chatter in Ventrilo, slow cycle times to recover and lack of communication. ALL of which was better than the last time we met with you in a choke point. It is a real observation that Cyn-D is working togather better every time we go out. with SOOO many new members, ide give a couple more weeks before i start to show concern. (if im around that long).

Our error in a choke point situation in way defines FL *as a whole* to be a superior guild, let alone functioning in a field situation. You are awarded no points. I did however manage to kill blood red knight last night though.. couple ev's and some ebolts did the trick, but i award myself no points for the kill, because it was not clearly a 1v1 situation. thought i think at that point it may have been.


I have a request though, to the FL member who keeps crashing me and about 6 other people in my guild. please try not to gain the edge with whatever it is that is doing that. several of us crashed hard upon entering the choke points you set up. I think something is fishy there. It isnt some kind of guess or accusation, its a simple request. if your not running something, then i apoligize, in complete disbelief. did i say that out loud?

I may be a bit of a negative, opinionated, and even sometimes insulting poster, but I think I can be believed on the following.

Both shards of late have been putting up noble and strong resistance to the Empire, the fights have been becoming intense and interesting. On Pacific shard do I feel we are in danger of losing our dominating posistion, though we can not claim to be winning every fight now, which is a good thing. Victory has to have a price if it is to have any meaning. If we win every fight, there will be no fights, and if we let ourselves be defeated by a few lost battles, we wouldn't be who we are.

I'll agree with you on this one, if anyone in any guild is using something to crash people out in game, they are a zero.

It may just be the massive amount of data in some of these choke situations combined with the server line crossing, because it happens from time to time to almost all of us, sometimes more often and in larger numbers than others.

But over the course of time there are some people who have a habit of odd things occuring around them. Probably on both sides of the fence, though it would be pretty hard to notice from a friendly

And seriously, we honestly check spawns manually, can you imagine how boring it is to do that on two shards, especially when most the time spent doing that is wasted time. Sure, you're gonna sneak some in, heck years ago I used to sneak some in under FL's nose with 2 or 3 other peeps.

Thing is, at 10 pm on a friday night, when I can still find unpopped spawns in T2a, you ain't exactly busting out spawns.

Just a hint, if giggle tee hee larisssssa and you want fights outside of despise, and we seem to have fallen asleep from looking for you to poke your heads out, just get us a message about it early on, maybe something like "we are going to do XXXXXX spawn, we're letting you know, don't you hit it until at least second level or we won't tell you the next time, cya there"

Yah that explains why me and a buddy decided to do a rat spawn after work, 5am central, and here comes 5 FL at the last tier. And no stealthers made it by me, you can bet that. Oh well, got a couple of the new artifacts, and no one got my insurance. UO pvp is turning into a big joke. Nothing new to go for, same old scrolls.
