If u must know...i erased my toolbar because i run 2 uo clients. Because if have 2 different accounts its just easier if u need to jump on the other for something. I didnt post it becuase i knew people would make a big deal about it but everyone that has 2 or more accounts does it so i dont wanna hear any b*tchin. Good thing you know me bro. I spend quite a bit of my free time tutoring and mentoring underprivileged kids in East Palo Alto, CA. I did the same thing in throughout high school when I lived in Texas. You would be surprised how often this issue came up. I have also participated in several forums at school (not internet forums) discussing this. Last year I spent over 3 months researching and writing about racism. Nice assumptions, though.

Tell me this. Do all African-Americans call each other "n***a"? Those that do, do they call each other "n***a" or *n***er"? Do they use it like "hey n***a what's up?" or do they say "you f***in n***ers!"? Is it an adaptation of the word used to cope with its existence or is it a negative insult?

So, when you use it in the way you do, as a connotation for what you have not yet explained (I really would love to know what you mean when you say "that guy is such a n***er" or "f***in n***ers"), do you use it as an insult or do you use it to cope with its existence as a tool for racial persecution?

Yes I do know the difference between the A at the end and the ER but it still gets the word out just the same. I may sound racist by some statements I make but I can assure you I am not as I have friends of all races. Ignorant yes.

I also agree with both of you on that it doesn't matter to me personally what someone calls me in game. That doesn't mean that the whole thing should be disreguarded on a larger social scale.

If I recall right, Zarc has an advanced degree in Sociology. I think he would agree with me when I answer the question that was asked earlier. It was something along the line of "How can we be expected to stop when they call themselves that?"

I'm not going to answer it directly for you but I'll be kind enough to give you an example and a reading reference. When blacks were slaves it was common to have them branded. Now a lot of "black" fraternities continue to get brandings. Under your logic it us non-blacks should still be able to brand them. Branding implies ownership and therefore objectification just like using the word [censored].

So why do they do this now? It's the issue of Transcendence. Read some Jack Katz. When done within a group it takes on a different form, something that belongs to them. Something you can not have.

Edit: For anyone who actually believes they are justified because blacks call themselves a "degrading" word then they would not be afraid to hit the cornor of Florence and Normandie and freely shout it out and not run.
