my chars are designed to avoid unequip so it's just a button linked to the potion type...
Personally I think that unequip is too slow... but you could try as many do: bring with you 1 spellbook with 1 first circle spell (like create food).
Cast it. Without lrc or reagents the spell won't enter, but you are disarmed without delay.
The final macro is:
Cas spell: create food (good because has no target)
Use potion
wait 1 s
equip
