ok what am I doing wrong or have set wrong I go to open a container it is blank i than have to click to get list than have to click again to get extra brightness alternative grid . if i close it it then does back to blank when i open it .

If you are gonna make the icons, I suggest to make the "extra" decors icons too, because like I said I'm gonna do that in default style

I have started work on the icons (for those wondering, I'm planning on doing Exchange work this weekend most likely).

Basic concept, I'll have the Third Dawn border that I use for the Actions icons, the inside will be transparent with the icon graphic (mostly from the menu bar, others as needed). The effect will be much like the Virtue icons, so it will flow very nicely.

Edit: Here's a preview of what is done so far:

I pleaded with Decor to make some further icons, but sadly the icon pack will not be updates

any chance there can be icons made for summon pets, we have a few in the pack, but i would REALLY love to see summon beetlem pack horse and pack lama icons!!!

as I said, make sure the decors package is the last one that I've updated on my site or it not works.
However for tomorrow I think I'm able to upload the new version of my UI and decors package and will be much easy to install :D

for scale the atlas enable the scale mode :p

However, I've made some numerical tests on atlas and radar:
Radar Deep zoom forced to -30
Radar Max visible zoom -2

Atlas Deep zoom forced to -30
Atlas Max visible zoom -2

Both allow the same values, however scaling the window will help you to obtain a deeper zoom on both :p

sure, is the same thing I though, I'll made the following extra icons for default (in addition to all the decors one in default style):
- Fire beetle
- blue beetle
- pack llama
- pack horse

if you needs more, just tell me :p

I'm unable to replicate this problem.

Pinco is there a way to change where the monster corpse's pack opens on screen or lock it to a area? I keep my mobiles bars on left side of screen and the corpses backpacks always open in the same spot overlapping with the bars.

I've finished the remake of the decors icons in default style and I've added many others to the list. For use the decors icons use the new package 1.6 Alternative 3.
If you need more icons just ask.
If you want the icons in copper or third dawn, you have to wait that the poor Dermott finish to remake all in his style.

the corpses use the cascade mode like 2d, and they start to open in 1 position then start to move :D

Actually there is no way to let them open in a fixed position, because I don't think that overlaying corpses is a good idea...
The cascade could make it appear on your healthbars, but you can see how many of them are open :p

Sorry, I'm trying to use the new Decor's iconpack with your UI and it isn't working. I installed the same way I used to with the old iconpacks, am I missing something?

made a macro with 2spells lvl4 casting speed in book 1 sec.

macro :gr.heal(1s)a.cure(1s) repeating 5x

message you are already casting a spell :(

equiped jewelery 1/2 (0,75s)then 3/5 (0,5s) and 4/8 (0,25s)

everytime it i get the already casting message
do i something wrong ?

icons:
the yellow icons should be reworked,to much yellow icons on the screen and the clear view is lost.....i realy like most of decors icons,would be nice if you use them still
a good mix of decors icons,and the original skill icon color and yellow icons would be ok ;)

the slayer icons are nice ;)

I think there's a problem with the Decors iconpack alt 3. I went back to alt 2 and it worked fine, so I'd suggest you go back to alt 2 if you still have that.

I'll second that. I realize I've said this before, but it is worth saying again, thank you so much for all the hard work you've put into this Pinco, and to Decors as well for the terrific icons, and to all the other modders who have, in my opinion, made the EC the clearly superior client.

2 icons would like is balance and claim list to get bank balance and to see what pets stabled so you can decide which ones to select.

The casting speed is shown as a tooltip on the spellbook (when you put the mouse over a spell) like the spell damage and the success chance.

The icons are default style, fore more decors style you must wait he does it... maybe I can do a temporary version with a gray background ...

Balance is missing, I'll add it to the next version :p

I found the problem with the decors pack 1.6 alternative 3. Decors uses spells name different than default. I've just uploaded the alternative 4 that works perfectly :)

NOTE: if you have installed the alternative 2 on Pinco's UI 3.7a you have to re-install the entire ui, because the alternative 2 will remove all the new icons of the 3.7a.

good question... have you tried to dye the petballs with the plants dyes? with musical instrument the color fix the problem :p

I took the basic spell casting time values from stratics, if they are wrong speak to petra :p

the context menu is automatically generated by the client, try to move the setting window to fix it...

The icons are pictures, if you want different colors you have to draw it in different colors :D
However, the greyish color is only on decors version, I did only the default style :p

i think you have to use the petball item id´s..... there is somewhere a post how you to do this...

1. Create Item-ID Macro
Befor to make petball macro You must make macro to get Item-IDs.
- Create "ItemID" Macro
- Drag Command action into ItemID macro
- Type this script into Command action
script _itemID = WindowData.CurrentTarget.TargetId

- Drag One more Command action into ItemID macro
- Type this script into Command Action
script Debug.PrintToChat(L" <TargetID> ".._itemID)

2.Get Petball Item-ID
Once you create ItemID macro, you can get Petball-ItemID.
- Drag your Petball on the ground.
- Click Petball and target it.
- Use ItemID macro. You'll see the ItemID of your petball in the chat window.
- Once you get ItemID you can pick your petball into your backpack.

3.Create Petball Macro. For example "Petball_Greater_Dragon"

it's not a good solution, in this way you lose your current target by using this macro...

ok, I've made some tests on spell speed:

The casting speed is highly dependant by the lag factor. I've tried with clumsy:
Basic speed: 0.5
Real Speed: 0.9 to 1.5
so it's impossible to get the real value :(

- Added the spell speed counter. Now if you cast a spell with target cursor you'll be able to see the real casting speed as a system chat message.
- Changed the server line maps with the version without snow.
- Changed the icons for bard slayers.

with UORudder there is a set of arrows outside of the direction arrows so you can highlight which way the boat is pointing, so u can use the direction arrows accordingly, ie forward is not up down etc so it makes it easy to navigate is there a way to replicate that with the EC?


i trust you are also working on a fix for mutli pet summon ball set ups:)

no pain, press esc, open action and make a new hotbar and make your own action bar :)

for the shield: user settings - > customize -> toggle war/peace shield

I found a way to make works the petball, I'll upload a working version for this evening if all goes well :p

There are 2 ways to do that:

1) using the current target

2) add them to the action but being unable to use it with the keyboard and inside of macros....


unfortunately the better way is the current target way :(

all you need to do is set it up for one character then you can go into your character folder and copy the hot bar line and past it into each other character this might speed it up some for you

Pinco please remember everytime you change something major like this..... I have to fix over 350 characters.

Trust me there is MAJOR PAIN!
unfortunately very few people appreciate the menu bar with the context menu so I had to take a radical decision...
However, I have to do the same work now :D

This I understand. Glad you feel my pain. :thumbup:


But really everything is awesome now I can custom my tasks to my characters... but oi! What a pain.

Ya, I agree it was a good change, and it will be better in the long term, but in the short term recreating menus on all the characters is a pain... :)

I was thinking about a new function...
What about some actions like the petballs for store the mounts and make a mount macro without the risk to target the wrong pet? :p

I actually figured out how to do that already using a command macro. But if you can offer a simpler way, then by all means. :)

Aren't reptalons, rideable llamas, fire steeds, and the two types of hiryu also mountable? Or are you talking about pet icons that you haven't added to the UI yet?

Pinco is there a way to change where the monster corpse's pack opens on screen or lock it to a area? I keep my mobiles bars on left side of screen and the corpses backpacks always open in the same spot overlapping with the bars.

To simulate the "disable offset gump" you have to edit the ContainerWindow.lua file.



1) Use notepad to open up "<UOSA folder>\UserInterface\<mod name>\Source\ContainerWindow.lua"


2) Change
ContainerWindow.DEFAULT_START_POSITION = { x=100,y=100 }
to
ContainerWindow.DEFAULT_START_POSITION = { x=800, y=500 }

The "800" and "500" are just my preferred X and Y positions. Change to whatever you prefer. Note that this will apply only to containers that you open within the game world. Containers within another container will inherit the gump position from their parent container. Just how I like it :D


3) Change
ContainerWindow.POSITION_OFFSET = 30
to
ContainerWindow.POSITION_OFFSET = 0

So let me pile on more praises - Pinco you are doing a great job! Your efforts are greatly appreciated! I really admire your enthusiasm! The EC has really been given a fresh breath of life.
