The Third Dawn texture pack is broken as well. Either go with vanilla Pinco's or use the Decors textures. Decors doesn't have any textures for the mobile or pet windows, so they aren't broken. :)

The plain Pinco's has the same problem... at least for me. I think the issue is in the fact that I scaled the heath bars to be significantly smaller.

The scale feature MIGHT be scaling the texture, but not the window itself.

For example, if you have a window that measures: x=100, y=50, then in theory the texture will also be 100x50 or maybe a pixel or two smaller (99x49, 98x48... whatever).

So if the scale feature is only targeting the texture and not the window, then you can end up with a window of 100x50, but a texture of 50x25 (with x= 51-100 and y= 26-50 being present but transparent due to no texture residing in those coordinates.

I see what you are saying. Yes I am seeing the same thing, but not to the same degree because I don't have my bars scaled as small.

Will you be updating the Copper Enhanced texture pack as well?

I will, but probably later this week... been a bit busy with Christmas last weekend and cleanup tonight, so expect everything to be worked on later this week.

Also I believe one of the keys to compatability of the theme's I create for Pinco's UI and the UI itself is that you install Pinco's UI FIRST, then install the theme SECOND and let the theme copy over the specific XML files involved.

If you copy over a new Pinco UI, it will probably replace the altered files with the Pinco files again, so anytime you update Pinco's UI, you'll want to reinstall the Theme as well afterward.

Of course it's also usually a good idea to delete the older UI package before installing the new one, so make it a habit when updating Pinco's UI to:

1. Download the new UI version(s)
2. Delete the current UI
3. Install Pinco's UI package
4. Install desired UI Theme package

- Fixed the bug of the mobiles/pet bar and scaled healthbars, now they will be shown correctly.
- You can scale the mobile bar again.

- Fixed a bug that block the window position saving.
- Added the Update Delay to the mobile bar options: this will allow you to slow down the update and reduce the lag.
After this patch, the mobile bar should be more performant than ever :D

That's not what I'm seeing. The Third Dawn texture pack is broken. That's not Pinco's fault, but I guess he's going to try to fix that. With the default textures there is a space, but it is very small for me, and it's just part of the formatting. It is also scaling properly. I'm also not having any problems with saving.

BUT, I'm not saying you're not having a real issue. I'm just saying I'm not seeing it... :)

- Added the healthbars dimensions to the UI_DECLARE.
This is helpful for fix the problem of the third dawn bars.
Reduce this:
UI.MobileBarsY = 55

until you get the right value into UI.lua file and should help :)

I'll do more tests in the meantime ;)

This is what I'm getting in the UI, without a texture pack. (Its the same with the Copper texture pack)

I'd rather have no space between the shrunk bars if possible...

The main Mobiles bar isn't saving the size it was scaled to, i set it to slightly larger than the health bar and then closed and relaunched the client before this pic.

EDIT: I just scaled the heathbars UP as far as they'd go, cleared and then used all names... The spaces are still there... In fact the spaces are there nomatter how I scale the bars.

I have to re-test this, but there are much space if the bar is very small...

Ok, ALMOST have the Third Dawn Texture pack ready, current issues that I see are as follows...

Mobile Health Bars (Separate from the Mobiles Window)

- The Close Button seems to be in a wonky place, close to the right end of the health bar, not the top right corner where it should be.

- When you pull a health bar from the mobile directly, it seems to be offest from the cursor by quite a lot

- When you use the arrow button to pull the bar from the Mobiles window, it sticks to the cursor and is difficult to "unstick"

I replicated 2 of 3. I can't replicate the close button in a wonky place... I need to know your UI scale level to test it...

I find it really easy. It takes a little getting used to, but basically all you do is click to grab it, then click to place it. I like the way it works.
As Llewen says, this is an intended feature and not a bug :D

- Now the windows title/buttons text will have the first letter of each word capitalised instead of the entire word.

- Now you can scale maps and trasure maps.

The scalable maps are awesome.

The health bars are a bit strange at the moment though..


They won't scale up or down. They're just stuck like that. It's kinda funny actually :D

All I did was over write the old file with new file.
The only other thing I have inside the folder is the Decors icon pack.

Maybe I should delete it all and reinstall?

Reinstalling won't fix it because the data that has become corrupted is in your character data file. You can fix it by turning on the scale mode and using your mouse wheel (hopefully you have one) to shrink the bars back down. I've had similar things happen with various elements, and it may well be related to copying character files and renaming them, etc.

I tried scaling it. It won't.

I'll try replacing the char file with a backed up one from a couple weeks ago.

Well it's back to working.

I logged on my second account and got the big bars. I closed and opened the mobile window and it suddenly went to normal size.

I logged my first acct and the same char and voila!

I'm severely confused by all this but erratically happy that all is well and I can continue to use the best thing to ever happen to the EC :D

- Fixed some monsters details into the db.
- Moved the context menu of the mobile bar from the mobile title to the arrow for open/close the bar (like the pet window).
- Added the option for close left/right the mobile/pet bar. You can access this option by the context menu of each bar.
- Now the mobiles dockspots are tied to the filter. For example. If you disable the innocent filter, you'll be unable to show the blue dockspot.
- Added a range to the loaded scale, in this manner the windows cannot be gigantic anymore.
this should fix the scale problem for good :)
Now I hope the problems on healthbars and mobile/pet window are finished :D

Unfortunately not. When I logged on after installing the new version a lot of my scaled hotbars etc. were screwed up (larger than they should have been), and my paperdoll was huge. I rescaled everything but the scale setting for the paperdoll isn't saving and is resetting every time the paperdoll is refreshed, or closed and opened again. :spider:

I see a few issues that I'm going to work on on my texture pack tonight...

- Non-Legacy view containers not showing the title (could be a font call mismatch)

Fixed... I was right... font miscall.

- Title Bar font in general needs to be raised 1pt (easy)

- Right Arrow (seen in the Character Sheet where the Resists and mods are) is picking up one of the other textures on the left

- Inner tabs on windows such as Skills, Paperdoll, etc need to be changed to the 'Xxxxx' format instead of allcaps. User Settings tabs are correct.

(Pinco, could I have the code and location(s) to add it in for this?)

- Still need to move buttons on mobile health bars a bit to the right (Heal/Cure/Close)

This is what I get for the Mobile Health bar (I have added in a small texture and called it accordingly for the close button):


When I try to add in an AbsPoint call on the close button it breaks the health bars so that they do not show up at all for some reason. I need to get it to the top right corner, but it seems "topright" and x=0 put the elements where you see them in the pics.


Further edit: Ok, this is weird but the above issue with the health bars only occurs on one character, the others all have the placement correct. Not sure why this could be.

Extras:

- Did a little format tweak to the Character Sheet window. Probably won't even be noticeable without a comparison.
- Changed the texture for window tabs to match the rest of the UI, going to see if I can get the rest of the tabbed windows to work like the paperdoll window.

I have sent the update to Pinco's site, I still have a couple of unresolved issues, but they aren't "gamebreaking" merely formatting issues.

When crab fishing, the "trap full" sign attaches to the mouse pointer no matter where the pointer is.
Left clicking it will drop it then you have to click 'close' on it to make it go bye bye.

The code is in the defauld dialog and windowutils, but if you need in other place just tell me where so will be available for every texture pack :)

The interior tabs of the windows (the skills window groups, the paperdoll tabs I think are the main two, User Settings window oddly enough is done correctly already).
