I was losing connection yesterday after the patch, but rebooting my computer fixed it.Great work, loving it so far. I do notice that when I use this UI, if I remain inactive for a short period of time (a few minutes but before the server times me out), I get a "connection lost" message and I am kicked out. That doesn't happen with the "default" UI; it keeps me on until inactivity times me out.
Also, when I look at the information for "Pike" (the weapon) the window shows it as a "Shore Fish", presumably intended for the fish of the same name.
you can already add the spell name after the spell words...One more toggle I would suggest...
Being able to switch between Spell words, Spell name, Both, and none.
All these options are getting to be so numerous (and welcome) that you may want to consider making your own User Settings page(s)
I sometimes turn the spellwords for others off.. Or I did using Copper Enhanced.. when I didn't want my screen filled with multicolored text. (Think EM events) I have it set at a tiny font at the moment, but that makes reading onscreen dialogue a tad more challengingyou can already add the spell name after the spell words...
Yea she meant options to have either just the English, English and the words of power, words of power only and turning them completely off.you can already add the spell name after the spell words...
About the user settings: I hate the user setting window, is always a mess to find something when you're hurry... the context menu is faster

I'm thinking this was missed. The send gold to loot bag option isn't being saved properly. I have to reset it every time I log in.Also the gold to loot bag setting isn't being saved.

- The gold to loot bag setting is now loaded properly.
- Fixed a problem with the stored target tooltip.
- Now the message "You have uncovered a <SIZE> deposit of niter! Mine it to obtain saltpeter." is also shown over your head.
- The Treasure Sand will be automatically ignored by object handle.
- Fixed a bug of the object handle which sometimes shows items that are in player backpack.

Pet Bars now look like the Mobile bars in MY skin package, also got some work done on the basic windows. Still have a few more aspects to work on, but I'm getting closer to getting a package put together I think people will like.
*mumbles* Well glad I asked and didn't bother to play with it, would have been more annoyed to take the time to find out the lua was a fake.Turning off spells could be doable, not showing it on chat probably not... the chat still in big part hardcoded, the lua contained into the default package are a fake :/

Well if they just kept with the original bottom line of creating something to be able to remove the 2d client, then they would not have to worry about doing double work. The more focus they have on the EC the faster they can snowball their problems.actually the devs has double work, every items added should be done for 2d and 3d client, and this split up their resources.
If the EC reach a good amount of players the devs will starts to work on it seriously, and maybe we will have more graphical improvements and more fixes...
For now I think that the devs who makes KR has wasted all the money that EA has invested for a new client by making a poor graphics and trying to copy wow.... In fact by reading old articles, the EA plan was to drop 2d for a new generation client and this would bring lot of new players. But the team who made this, was below the expectations and unable to achieve the objective...
Poor basic ideas, low interest on UO (surely they used to like more wow than UO) and no will to make something great is the foundation of this client...
When the new team was formed they had to put together the pieces of something below the average without the resources for restore it...
Luckily the EA has not closed all UO for that failure, but surely they will think twice before invest in UO once again

If they put in twice the amount of time in the ec as they do the classic client, then eventually the EC has to end up good and they can remove the classic client completely, allowing full development time to be spent on the game and a single client.

I totally can NOT move with the EC right now.
I get like 10 steps in at the invasion and I'm locked up solid as a rock and it's like I'm totally grounded. I can recall and everything else just fine but I can NOT move. Like I'm rooted in place.
I tried shutting off the Mobles bar and that was helping some but it was seriously laggy as all get out and finally I'd quit being able to move again.

Well after resetting the router and the modem several times and all I started having huge problems with the CC as well... Second one is, did you notice any sort of downgrade in your ability to play in the classic client? Might not be as bad as the EC but if you did notice it then more than likely they are overloading the memory which the ec tends to handle a little worse than the 2d client, although if you do it long enough you will notice the 2d client becoming unplayable as well =\

I'm not sure what's going on but one thing I do know is my internet has been loused up for quite a while and my bandwidth drops severely in the evenings. I'm told they are "working" on it... but hell it's been over 4 months now and I've seen little to no improvement.
I've just noticed this problem with the total freezing though in the last couple of patches from Pinco... I've also had a BUNCH of client crashes since the UO publish that brought us the Halloween events... So I'm not sure what's going on. But between crashing, freezing and the lag I hardly feel like playing at all.... and I've been getting really irritated with not being able to really participate in any of the events. And forget trying to GET anything because half the time by the time I realize something has spawned it's mostly dead before I can even target it. Makes me not even want to play anymore.
Yes, but that isn't what I meant. The chat window does not fade out as it should. I should disappear after 10 seconds and does not.lock the chat line will dock it to the game window, unlocking it will dock the line to the journal window (as EC default)
