I'm very late for that but less than the previous time. I'm exploring SA content. It's great, there's a lot of thing, but I'm a bit intrigued by the difficulty of the thing there.
First of all my Imbuing skill doesn't rise much. I feeding my gargoyle with bags of loot and the skill gain from the loot of a hunting session (a looting session I should say because killing isn't the problem) is very limited. I'm still at the beginning of it and I can't use it yet to imbue my stuff.
Secondly I went to the Abyss by the Tomb of Kings thanks to guides. Without them I'd have no clue how to enter. I'm happy I've found a good spawn to farm for ingredients for fixative, but I'm a bit troubled by the Abyss itself. I decided to go to the cavern of the discarded to get crystalline blackrock for the coming event, but at the first bridge, there's a swarm waiting for me. Most of the mobs are not dangerous, but the Fire Demons are exceptionally party breaking. A retargetting system forcing me to heal intensively from behind, lots of HP and a ridiculous loot. I use a dread horse and a nightmare. Am I forced to use a cu sidhe or a greater dragon?
So... ok so far I stopped at the first spawn. When I crossed the bridge, all I saw was more mobs and another fire demon. So I came back to home.
People seem to be talking about this dungeon like it's their second home. Did I miss a stat boost handout?

If you want anything imbued just holler Coppelia. And run from those fire demons! Nasty things. I haven`t been able to hunt them with melee or archer. Best bet against them is a GD - at least that is my experience. I use different characters for different mini-spawns down there. Some renowned creatures are rather easy, only loads of hitpoints, other can be quite deadly.
nope, but unless you're equipped for those earlier spawns most of us run straight past them - or we use the kindly placed house teleporters. The house with a teleporter to the human side abyss house is just outside Zento gates, east of the moongate. When you reach there you'll find another teleporter to the gargoyle side abyss house which is right by the cavern.

Thank you for the advice, I will try that. It's always a bit complicated to run through a spawn with two pets, but at least now with the pet command enhancements it's possible. I'll area peace my way to there.

Admittedly that would be cool... but i actually just want the side i choose to win for once i sided with the bane to start with, but at that point everyone was killing them so i never once got a reward... and then i switched sides (Loyal i know..) but not i havent seen bane win since... after working so hard aswell... huge negative loyalty and back up to positive lol..
And as for the dirty packs, thats what mothers are for...

And seeing your name on anything crafted is a real buzz, knowing it could stay in the game till the end of UO time. Valorite kit things must be doubly so.

Even junk created by a valorite runic gives relic fragments when imbued I guess.
