WOW! Craziness!!!
I used to spend tons of time taming and releasing unicorns in my house, just because they went with my decor. Helped to make it look like a fantasy land.
I've also logged on from time to time to find my house shoved full of polar bears as a joke by guild mates. One time there were soooo many in there that I think it lagged all of Ice Island. I've even logged in to find frost spiders in my spa room, which was quite hilarious as I don't like spiders. But to me that is part of the fun of UO. Never knowing what too expect out of some of your friends, and people being spontanious... and just getting in a good laugh.
I don't understand what is wrong with having an animal in your house in the first place. If you or a friend are able to get it tamed and released there in the first place, whats the harm? Who cares if someone is able to use it for a skill gain, there are all kinds of methods to gain skill that would be similar to trapping an animal in a house, you still have to spend the time training the darn skill, or taming it.
I also think it is a crying shame that the person that handled the situation, doesn't even know the first thing about UO. Oh I understand budget cuts and all that jazz, but whoever is dealing with the situation should at least play the game. Heck there are probably plenty of us game players here that would take a job like that. It would be a great way for some of our UO players that are disabled or unemployed to make a buck.
On another note, does that mean we can get banned for hatching chicken lizards in our house now??? I mean they ARE wild when they first hatch. And what if I hatch a chicken lizard and suddenly have to leave my computer, because of xxxx number of reasons?????
What is our poor UO world coming too????
