The fact of the matter is that 75% of the people in this country on welfare and foodstamps are white americans, not minorities.

You say that like you made some salient points. Well done. However, asking for reasons why people won't vote for Obama, then latching onto and one issue with questionable statements and ridiculous (and disturbing) examples while ignoring the SLEW of other concerns won't win you many court cases. But I got them a big wooden rosary from olive trees from Spain...they almost forgave me for going from Catholic to Southern Baptist born again...well no they never forgave me ...they just told relatives...there were too few catholic churches in dixie...........LOL that is where hubby and I moved to the south.............. !

This country needs a complete political overhaul. The money and power need to be removed from politics to get it back to its original intent: serving the people. I don't care one way or the other about term limits, I just think it should be all voluntary. That way, we'll get people who really want to make this country better. Until then, we are stuck with this two party system and in order to matter, you have to work within it.

God I hate to resurrect this thread but...Colin Powell is just like McCain: a Republican, not a conservative. He was dragged kicking and screaming into the Bush administration and is one of the biggest pieces of **** to grace said administration. Oh, and he's not the first secretary of state. He's the first black secretary of state (I think?).

As much as I am going to throw up a little in my mouth when I vote for McCain, I will take great pleasure in knowing I'll be canceling out your vote. Small victories I guess.

No universal healthcare isn't working for Canada?, furthermore Obama's plan isn't universal heathcare. I love how you define the middle class as lazy, nice one. the rich have gotten much richer in the last 10 years and the poor much poorer and the middle class is paying for both of them. His nazi pastor, his communist wife, and his partner in crime bill ayers? wow, I like how people he has meet in life, shaked hands with, or did business with makes him a nazi, communist, terrorist. get a clue.

1) No, it's not working for Canada. Not if you want anything preventative done or aren't on death's doorstep.

2) The middle class isn't lazy. Neither are rich people. Or poor people. None of them, as a group, are. However, people that walk into the voting booth thinking they are on Let's Make A Deal and pull the lever for the guy that's going to give them the most stuff are lazy. I know people in all three "classes" that fit that description and they all make me sick.

3) I don't care who has gotten richer or poorer. The opportunity is out there. Go work for it. I'm underpaid for someone with a college degree. Guess what? That's my fault, not the governments.

4) Bammy didn't just "meet" and "shake hands" with terrorists, communists, or Nazis (you lose btw). He worked with, was tutored by, and modeled some of his beliefs on what these whackos said.

Don't worry, you'll get your handout soon enough in the good ol' USSA. Enjoy it.

Ok, so give me some examples of Canadas healthcare program to refute my statement. And, its quite similar. O'bamas plan is something to the lines as this, all poor people who can't afford insurance will be given medical treatment (somewhat like the pro bono for lawyers).

Defining middle class as lazy sure I did, and still believe it. How many poor and middle class play the lottery? Is that not a lazy method of making money? How about those of us suckered into buying something without reading the fine print on those looooonnnnnggggg papers that are standing in our way of having a nice car and/or not? Lazy...sure we are...when was the last time you read the "Terms and Conditions" when buying a microsoft product online? Lazy sure....so get off bud.

Wait a minute, Bush has a secretary of state named Condolleza Rice who is black and a female....so rolleyes: but that isn't mentioned about how "Liberal" Bush was does it....*wink*
