What do you want for Xmas?

Seeing everyone get excited about the upcoming publish got me thinking. What do I want for Xmas from the UO dev team?

So, in no particular order, here goes:

- Automatic deletion of duped items when they are created. They can tell when something is duped, why can't they add a check function every time an item is created that deletes it if it is duped? In order for it to be effective this function would have to be called every time a character crosses a server line, or items pop out of a "black hole".

- In game vendor search.

- Any Xmas related being that you can insert into an iron maiden, and listen to them scream. How cool would that be?

I would like a Blessed Plain Dress made of the old evil mage dark shadow cloth... well that exact color at least!

Going along with that, perhaps a choice of Blessed clothing items with a choice of color. The colors could be hues not otherwise available. I would love if each item had a special tag - "Sewn by (Dev name here)". Random Dev names would be fine with me.

Another idea - Snowflake and/or Stars deco that could 'shimmer', in a string, kinda of like garland. I saw Fireflies used like lights in a string, and thought Snowflakes and/ or Stars designed for that purpose would just be adorable.

Maybe some fun winter themed tameables. Wouldn't have to be anything overpowered, just something unique for the season.

She didn't ask for any religious things. she ask for Christmas music and some carolers, and there is plenty of Christmas songs out there that has nothing to do with religion like jingle bells, All I want for Christmas is my 2 front teeth etc etc....

Carolers I think I would rather have Caroling out fits to either use or dress up vendors in

I don't think real life Christmas songs would fit into UO anyway someone would have to be creative and come up with songs that fit in with the UO era.
I do like her Ideas though.

For people to remember that we have a Thanksgiving holiday first here in the states before Xmas. ( This is only to the American player base )

Any one of the ideas I posted in the Dev Ideas and Suggestion thread to get implemented. Most got 10 or more thumbs up (more than any other posts in the thread) and yet not one has been addressed. Adding alphabetic sort to bod books and the like seems like small items to be added in the grand scheme of things and everyone seems for it. Why not?

The current undergarments always reminded me of fundoshi with how they're bunched up in the front. Doubtless I'm not the only guy who has a dozen alternate examples ready to post, but I won't, for the sake of forum rules, or start talking about our ideas for materials.

I have always wanted access to the rest of the trees. Like just the regular 4-5 trees you find in every woodland. So we could make our houses match the woods around them.

Christmas isn't a religious holiday .
That is the way I was raised my beliefs, and I don't expect others to change the way their beliefs are about Christmas or that day. Its called having respect for how others feel even if I don't feel the same way.
So Christmas being a religious holiday to others does this make Reindeer, Santa, candy canes, etc religious items ?

What I would love is to be able to fix the ugly around the shard. If I had the power to do so I would spend hours a day deleting all the stew, paintings, and such that aren't supposed to be there. I'd spend 100's of hours putting tiles back where they should be....

I wish the DEV's would take some pride in the game and walk around with someone like me and see what I see. Walk thru Doom with the circle of Transparency on and see the dozens of missed floor tiles.... walk around any town and see the 100's of missed corner posts... ....... Walk thru every town in every shard and I bet you at least a dozen people would be able to tell them where there are and have been doors missing off of buildings... Rooms that have been locked for years by some event long....... long ......... long over. Walk the coasts and look at them in 2d and in the EC they look HORRIBLE.... Water squares all over the land... leaving stuff like that just makes the game look bad... people give us such crap over playing this game because of the graphics..... the least we could have is the world looking "complete". There is a piece of wall just randomly in the ground in Fel Britain farms...... WTF is up with that????? There is still 100's and 100's of pieces of "rubble" crap left all over Magincia.... What I wouldn't give to be able to clean that up. I sometimes feel like the Native American in the old commercials years ago who would cry looking at the garbage left all over our lands in the US..... That's how I feel sometimes when I see all the crap left all over my shard. I wish I could clean it up but I can't. As Governor I had hoped to be able to add beauty to my city... but I can't even do that... It's my city... where I've lived since I started playing UO...... and I love it, that's why I ran for Governor... not because I thought I would "get" something... but because I love my city... It's my home and I care about it. I'm thankful Vesper finally got their Stable.... now I want more than anything for Yew to get it's Dock which has been LONG overdue and I am ever hopeful that we will get a bridge or even a ferry to our Far Farm... one that has been long overlooked.

Take and remove the crap that blocks the pumpkin patches in the lost lands city of the dead...... FEL...... open the gates to the patches so at the next Halloween next year if we want to risk our lives and get at the pumpkins that spawn there we can... The have been blocked for FAR too long. IF you are worried about folk using the fence to easily kill the monsters there then just remove the fence all together..... or just leave the 4 corners. But let us be able to actually get the killer pumpkins from those fields....

How about finally finishing Illshenar??? Finally making the dungeons there worth going to????? How about putting something IN the 100's of chests that spawn there?????

Brought back the robes now can we finally get the dread warhorse back in game???? Bane dragons? I still think you ought to put the Vanguard into the game permanently.... I miss them... loved them.

How about adding a reward to the Zoo of a black horse? War Horse?
