Just noticed the motto for the Great Lakes shard for the first time yesterday:

UO Great Lakes
Great Lakes.....the other servers just have mediocre lakes.

That really tickled me ...

G'day to ye, Petra! We too have about 80% of severe thunderstorms today. One can nearly cut the humidity with a knife. Good luck with the windows vs Nature!

Advantage to IT: When the building air conditioning goes out, our little office area is nice and comfy cool. BTW, the annual breakdown of building A/C has occured and temps outside the IT doors here are already 85 degrees F and climbing.

Any home is a castle ... if you simply believe. On LA I have a Keep which I kinda regret taking (it was free). Deco is nasty to do because of the floorplan and all.

I'm seriously considering putting an 18x18 up just S of the steps and moving. Then I can off the keep to someone or drop it. <shrug>

Hiya Kimi ... never have tried a tamer in all my years.

I resisted making a tamer for almost 7 years since I thought it's the dullest thing in town to train (I was wrong: herding is duller!) But last year I finally got my head around it and now Findecano is one of my favourite chars. He's not much of a tamer though as he doesn't have any barding skills, but being legendary in all three taming skills he is a great pet trainer and does some serious monster whacking

Herding is easy to train.
Get a unicorn, or something non-hostile (or hide).
Then set up a macro for:
Last Object
Wait for Target
Last Target
Target Self

I've never hit GM myself, but a unicorn would probably get you there.

Surprisingly Europa vs LA for lag, etc is identical (darn little!!). Soooooo, a fledgling tamer was born in New Haven last night ... Europa. I'm sort of unsure as to skills outside Lore, Taming, Vet so am waiting on forum restores to get me the Tamers Forum! And you'll know it's me very easily.
