Unfortunately, that's not how it works on any shard. No smart person makes an xfer for a fight with such a large amount of gold on the line without a broker. Having a broker is what keeps someone from going "Actually, I don't think I will pay you" if they lose (because the broker already has the gold, and a rep to back it up).

lmao. I actually have 4 invites from members such as Trin, Kal, Philos, and GTO to join waka. I am working a new char up atm and you should see me in the feild in a few days flying a Waka tag (Approval of guild of course) but have pretty much been told I am in. Just gotta get guilded. Owe and unlike you I have been invited by them to go to other shards with Waka. I also have known a member of waka prolly longer than you have been PvPing. So please hush. Only reason MOO has any room to talk is because they got Tek! and whoever else you all are allied with ATM to help them.

Dont forget he was also in WTF I beleive. Here is also a list of guilds I have been in:

E^E - First PvP guild since AoS I had been in.
W@R - Napa Valley guild. I xfered there because I was bored of Sonoma.
S1N - Joined after I got back from Napa Valley
Fel - Was in for a day before I got tired of "Neep, Neep", "No Tag Body Bag" and the rest of MOOs abnoxiousness in TS. Left when Adel and the rest of them left. Only reason I joined Fel was because had friends in it.
S:S - Guild that Adel and Aegis made. I was in it for a bit, but had issues with people in the guild. So left it. Went to Baja and played with -H8-.
-H8- - As I just said. Went to Baja on invite of Waka to join up with them in H8.
Deth - Guild that me and a friend made who is no longer as active as he was. Off doing other things. I still got a char in there.

Now I would say that my track record is a bit long yes. Now how many of the guilds listed above are still around and active. Umm, I think the anwser is 2!!! S:S and Deth. EFL is still around, but I rarely see the tag. The off shard guilds I think hate might still be around. I know W@R was not last time I looked on Napa. Avatar disbanded guild when he left. Now I could care less what you think of me. Ill see you on the feild. W/O Tek, MOO would not be anything to worry about.

Owe and shard wise, I have been on Sonoma, Napa, Baja, Pac, Legends, Drachenfels, and Arirang. So I got quite a few under my belt as well. Those are all shards I have had felluca players to spawn/PvP on.

All of MOO merged into D... The stone was left open by one char... Spin it any way u like it, but various people who were in D will verify this... I didn't say anything... I'll be the first to admit that I was in a couple diff guilds over the times, but most of those guilds I spent a lot of time in... Leaving only cause jackasses whom are in ur alliance now joined ISO... So ya u can call me a guild hopper since I been in these guilds over the past 4 years... At least I didn't do it all over the span of a years time... and u forget ur the one callin others guildhoppers yet u've done the same... It's a recurring theme with u... Hypocrite much???

To add to this, I have witnessed thousands of duels for money and NOT ONCE have any debts been paid... I totally understand where Slip is coming from here... Either get the broker or stfu cause ur shady Worm... We can see it all from the way ur avoiding getting the broker that u wouldn't pay up... U obviously spawn all day long cause u've got no life so u gotta be UO rich now... What's 100 mil???

I've been in 2 other guilds besides MOO thats hardly guild hopping. I've stayed with the same core MOO for about 2 yrs too

Yea your right I am shady I've scammed a few people in my day. As for spawning all day because I have no life, wrong again lol. Keep bringing up irl buddy but at least make it somewhat believeable.

I got people willing to put as much money as you want up on a duel. Hell we can do 500 mil. I dont care i know you will lose. You cant beat me 1 v 1 in a confined area. I am flat out better than you, I expect you to agree to a broker or to shut your mouth forever, end of story. If you arent man enough to duel me for money then you are just another no name trash noob.

As for the rest of you talking [censored] about me and the guild im currently in (TBA) you all better hope we dont come to sonoma cause we will shut down the shard in 30 seconds flat. Plain and simple you all dont have the numbers or talent to compete with my group. Even FL who fields 30-40 people consistently hasnt been able to do a harrower or any spawn before 3am in about two weeks since we hit origin.

I stepped up gave him my ICQ and he says he'll ICQ me on the Sunday before Xmas... 3 weeks later still no ICQ yet he makes it seem I am ducking him... Buddy, u made the challenge... I did my part to make it happen... ur the punk that hasn't let ur balls drop and double clicked my name on ICQ and said "hey I am at such and such place, let's get our fight on"... No no no, that's not how it goes is it... U want to get on stratics and puff ur chest up and pound on it like ur hero Big Perm and try to spin it the other way around... It's all good... If ur gonna be a pancake at least admit it...

Hmm... I never really understood it, but what does a duel for 100m prove that a duel for nothing doesn't ? Why not simply leave the broker out and try 100 "duels" for 1 Million each. Then you will really know who's better and someone not paying is pretty much the coup de grace of them being a lamer.... Those who stipulate a $ amount always seem to be hiding behind something and use it as an excuse not to fight. Besides..... the more rules and requirements you add to any Duel the less realistic it becomes.... (confined area? no pots? no specials? congrats... your the master of a fight that NEVER happens...) That's just how I see it.

Anyway....

NE ways. Replying to a post above. I actually like the 100 duels for 1m each. It does make more since. But then again if you got 100m to drop on one duel, you win UO!

The only problem there is that I don't think he's hiding behind the $ amount. Regardless of the amount a broker is probably going to be involved (just a trust issue, really). The presence of legit brokers guarantees payment. Really Worm is the one that's dodging the fight. (really, the whole shtick of going "well come fight me, come fight me" without getting a broker is just that, dodging the fight. I thought people stopped doing that thing once they hit a certain maturity level, but maybe not)

Obviously in a controlled fight you have to have some rules... if not, why not fill a farm pen with dragons and fight there... obviously someone's going to get screwed over by dragons, no? I completely understand where you're coming from, but you have to have some foundation to work upon. The issue here is who has more "skill". How are we going to define that? It's nearly impossible to find one objective measure of skill. That's the primary reason people choose pure mage dueling as a measure, even if it really doesn't tell you THAT much in terms of skill. Save for poisons, nothing in that fight is random. Quick decisions/finger speed and tactics are what are being measured.

Ultimately, it's a moot point. But when you have 50million people running around saying that the other sucks, or is "trash", how do you prove that said person has at least some level of skill? Creating stakes and a set of rules is going to be key in any sort of "measure". The rules give legitimacy, and the stakes are generally a measure of confidence that one player has in themselves AND their opponent.

If you looked halfway through the fight you woulda saw the MOO tag back. Zarc your terrible at pvp just stop talking to me. The way I post on these boards doesn't reflect what I'm like irl. I just like to post to get responses out of ****s like you and it works

I'm terrible at pvp? Ok my little bear. We already went over this in icq the other night. If I am terrible at PVP, then that makes your almost your entire guild terrible at pvp, because I can stand up to anyone in MOO. The only challenge I would have would be you, jesse, and peon and honestly I give myself perfectly good odds in a duel or field fight against any of you guys. A fight against peon would be the most fun, since we're both fairly analytical people that like to try to out analyze and outgame the other person. Fighting Jesse would be fun too because I &lt;3 him.

I've never claimed to be super good, but I know what I can and can't do. Beat you on the field? Can do. Might not be every time, but it would be enough to prove my worth. Beat you at farms dueling pure? Done it. If you would like to do an enclosed area field fight some time, I wouldn't mind at all. All I need to do is make sure my connection isn't screwed up whenever you want to do it (anyone that's been in a guild with me can attest to the fact that I'm either really fast or really slow because of the nature of my connection).

Also, if I'm terrible at pvp, what makes you better than me?

I noticed Big Chicken is avoiding talking about the 100 mil duel he agreed to. I bet right now he wishes he didnt already say he would duel me. Now he just has to use excuses like "[censored] brokers" and "Come to the shard then you can see my money" because he knows how badly he will get owned.

Edit: Just to point out something. At any given time or day anyone can be beat in this game and that can be a result of various things IRL or just game related. I know I have beaten some really good people then died to what people think is a trash player and so on. So to say someone will never beat you or could never beat you really is far fetched.

I agree with that point, and I wouldn't say anything otherwise. There are times in the field where my mind just bleeps and it seems like none of my objectives are working. Sometimes I do things like type on my laptop keyboard when I'm trying to pvp on my desktop. I also have my on days. Comes and goes. That's why I tried to make it clear that I don't think I'm the best player in the world; I just know that I'm not a terrible pvper *shrug*
