just login, then enable debug and send me the log...I'm still having issues with mobiles and pets not showing up in the windows with the latest version. I've gone back to 3.9. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help you track these issues down.
this feature do not works on legacy containers, maybe this is the cause... just switch to grid to set loot/trap containers.Small bug here; I can set the Loot bag on some characters, but not others with the latest Pinco. I've set all the options as far as I can see to the same, but I may have missed some... is there a simple file I can copy from one character to another to duplicate them exactly and remove the possibility it's a setting issue first?
The bug itself is that the icon to choose the Loot Bag just doesn't come up on some characters. Opening the target bag with the cursor doesn't trigger it, the option just disappears...

- Added the button "GO!" to the crystal portal helper.
- Removed the clone of fan dancer dojo from the crystal portal helper dungeon list.
- Fixed the text of the hotbar context menu, now it will not be confused right/left with top/bottom.
- The reflect physical damage will be no more highlighted like the physical damage.
- Added the "Sink" icon to the waypoints icon list.
- Fixed a bug with the skill loss timer, now it will not be reset on login.
- Fixed a bug that prevent the UI main functions by entering in skill loss.
- Fixed some isssues randomly generated.
there is also 1 more icon to doThank you, appears to be working perfectly now. And Dermott, I figured out that the only xml file I need to worry about not copying over is the file in the root mod folder, "Interface.xml". Everything else should be copied over as usual - for anyone else who may have experienced similar issues to me trying to use the Third Dawn textures with versions 4.x
Well the last time I had an idea he ended up with ten more icons to work on. This should be easy...there is also 1 more icon to do
When I scale them both as small as they go one is smaller than the other. There is no way to fix it scale wise. not bugging me, just something to put out there.this happen because one of the 2 bars has a different scale
better solution is scale both as little as you can then scale it back at the right dimensions
destroy the bad hotbar, probably it has a wrong base scaleWhen I scale them both as small as they go one is smaller than the other. There is no way to fix it scale wise. not bugging me, just something to put out there.
I fixed the problem of not appearing and the wrong position, but the lock is working fine for me...The quick details window does not load when the client starts. if i bring up the menu and just hit apply it appears. also locking it does not seem to make it unmovable.
I'm afraid it wasn't this, nor I get the target cursor to target any bag. It may be a fault with an individual characters settings or profile? Is there any file you'd like me to host for you to check for this bug (and a comparison working profile)?this feature do not works on legacy containers, maybe this is the cause... just switch to grid to set loot/trap containers.
try with a fresh new profile... maybe the character profile is ruined... sometimes happen if you have tried more UI and different versions...I'm afraid it wasn't this, nor I get the target cursor to target any bag. damned skill window...Hey Pinco!
I keep forgetting to mention this but for several versions now total skill points and points used no longer appear in my Skills screen.
Is this some option I missed?
I take it that this latest software you posted is an enhancement to the enhanced client and not a new version of your UI, correct?
the arrow exist because drag the bar was a mess, clicking a bar means detach it from the group and all become an hell... so there is no way back for itHey Pinco great mod, i try to get all my friends that manage to look at SA to try it. Any way we can get the mobile drop down bar changed so we can pull the bars right off of it vs. clicking the arrow on the right top corner?
P.S. Great idea adding a macro to pull bar from current target at the push of a button. Almost dont need the mobiles bar with that, but would make my e-life very easy if you have the ability to do so.
Thanks!
you can disable the veteran reward gump if you don't like itLove that sig file, Roland! Of course if you're familiar with the Song of Roland, you know the woe that befell the poor bastage due to stealthed warriors....was a touchy subject ever after for Charlemagne and something you simply didn't discuss in Frankland.
It's not just stealth that reached absurdity. I overheard one guy - perhaps giving Fel a test drive - remark in bewildered astonishment, "Hey! I was fighting this guy but he suddenly TURNED INTO A DOG and disappeared!"
And thank you, in advance, Pinco, for addressing the matter of the stealth point totals. My account has finally turned one year old and I was hoping to see five more skill points added to my cap....I didn't want to see that damned rewards gump and thank you, once again, for rendering it a stealth object.
Nothing you can do about the stealth release notes in the patcher...no, that's not true. Your latest version allows us to "stealth" the entire patcher itself. After all, if a patch is not even worth a phrase or two of release notes it's not something you want inhabiting your computer to begin with.

The app is tied to the game effects volume... so just raise the effects volumeI love the EC PlaySound app. How do I turn up the volume for the sound effects?
I'm having a couple of problems. I did find that I could turn the sound effects up, but this makes the game sound effects too loud for me. I'd like to be able to turn up just the EC PlaySound effects (however, I can live with it as things are if this isn't possible). The app is tied to the game effects volume... so just raise the effects volumeI love the EC PlaySound app. How do I turn up the volume for the sound effects?
1) I can add another volume bar to the option to manage the volumeI'm having a couple of problems. I'd like to be able to turn up just the EC PlaySound effects (however, I can live with it as things are if this isn't possible).
The second problem I am having is that the panic sounds are playing when I run the test from the options menu, but they aren't playing when I actually have a panic message in game.
And this is a question I hate to ask, but I feel like I have to. This app isn't going to cause any problem with the third party cheat detection is it? It doesn't do anything nasty like hack memory locations or the data stream does it?
can we make the arrow a tab? and put it on either side of the bar? I dont like being one of those cryers over mods, i just love this feature and would like it to be 110%! = )the arrow exist because drag the bar was a mess, clicking a bar means detach it from the group and all become an hell... so there is no way back for it
Uh.....I know. That's why I THANKED YOU for adding the feature. Easy to miss, I realize, as it was far from a serious post to begin with and this is not your first language. I'm still trying to figure out the first language in my own country.you can disable the veteran reward gump if you don't like it
I will take a look into the mobile bars, I found the right idea for itcan we make the arrow a tab? and put it on either side of the bar? I dont like being one of those cryers over mods, i just love this feature and would like it to be 110%! = )
Once again great job.
I don't know if is doable for a specific weapon...OMFG i almost forgot !@!! Is there a way to make the screen scream at me if i dont have my set weapon in my hand?!? *drools?*
there are 2 place to check your current version:PSS how do i check my current version of pincos, and what is the most recent?
that's an emote problem, the fix is in upload nowThis is another request regarding the EC PlaySounds functionality. Is there any way to configure what events are allowed to trigger sounds? Certain sounds are playing and I have no idea why they are playing. They aren't exactly annoying me, but they aren't terribly useful either at this point for me.
4.1c
- Fixed once again the skills window totals.
- Fixed the emote sounds, now will be executed only when an emote (*emote*) will be executed.
- Fixed a bug with the crystal portal helper that could send the command to the wrong channel instead of say it.
- Added the volume slidebar for EC PlaySound into User Settings -> Sound.
- Changed the heartbeat sound: now is no more tied to the centerscreen text.
- Added a toggle for the heartbeat sound into User Settings -> Sound.
- Fixed a memory leak on EC PlaySound.
- Increased the working speed of EC PlaySound to obtain a faster response.
I'm an old player returning to UO. Resisting the strong pull of nostalgia, eager to embrace the future, I downloaded and installed the Enhanced Client. Then I saw the Enhanced Client Guide (YouTube video, using Pinco's UI) on UO Stratics, and that set me straight. Pinco's UI feels like Ultima.Code:4.1c - Fixed once again the skills window totals.
Ok, I have to face this problem seriously in order to defeat this skillswindow bugThanks, Pinco
Only problem with the skills window now is that it sets on the first account you logon with. I initially logged on to an account with a 705 point cap and it reflected this accurately. Then I switched to a 720 point cap account. It then reported 720 points used out of 705.
Neat in a way....I felt like I was getting away with something I shouldn't

Unfortunately I'm unable to detect when a summon appears... maybe one of this day I'll get the right idea for itForgive me if this has already been asked, I only just started using EC properly.
Is it possible to have a countdown timer for summoned creatures, or is the math too complex? My treasure hunter uses earth elementals which have an annoying habit of disappearing at the most inopportune moments. It would be lovely if I knew when they were about to go 'poof'
that's easy, I've gathered all the formulas when I tried to do that...oki, thanks. Maybe, if I can work out how long the summons is supposed to last for that character I can add the hourglass to the macro that casts the spell.
*appeals for help to someone less mathematically challenged*
yes, should be about 7 minutes and 30 secondsoki. So I add the hourglass timer to the macro. When the ele appears I hit the 'start'. The char has 110 magery, so I know it's going to disappear at 7 minutes 20 on the timer. Yes?
Yes indeed, this was both the problem and solution! I swapped to the Lucis interface to give a pet a name with more than one word, and the error happened when I returned to Pincos. I deleted the profile and copied and renamed one of the working characters in (to save reset up time!) and I could now apply Loot Bags. Thank you!try with a fresh new profile... maybe the character profile is ruined... sometimes happen if you have tried more UI and different versions...

4.1d1
- All sounds will be shutted down on log-out.
4.1d
- Improved the account age formula in order to get the right value for the skill total cap.
- Fixed the generic gump text edit box font color. Now will be a black font instead of the green unreadable one.
- Now the Get Type ID action will return the bonsai type.
- Changed the "move" button of the healthbars locked to the mobile bar.
- Improved the EC PlaySound performance.
- EC PlaySound now will not start the game if is already open.
- Added a new buffer to EC PlaySound for the heartbeat.
- Added the Play Music action:
* This action allows you to start an mp3 music
* The music file must be in the music folder inside the game folder
* EC PlaySound is required in order to use this action.
- Added the Stop Music action able to stop the music started through the Play Music action.
- Fixed the tooltip on the quick details window.
- Blocked the default pet rename function in order to avoid mistakes.
- Changed the heartbeat sound with a "soft" one.
Ahah, that does indeed work for names of more than one word... I think I missed that in some of the patch notes somewhere! More awesome Pinco goodness then! All it needs now is, let me think...an entire cow themed skin!to rename a pet just say: I wish to rename into <NEW NAME>
no need to use lucis for that...
It works for me... remember that the butto will became active only for a blank character... if you just enter the name or something else the button will stay disabled...I'm trying to import a character into the template editor, and I'm having no luck. I was logged into the EC on the character, I chose to export the character using the Template Editor tools and I got the message saying that it had been done successfully, but when I go to the editor the button for importing the EC doesn't activate and I can't click on it.
yes, you can do thatOkay, Pinco, lemme get this straight....instead of having to listen to that damned Fan Dancer Dojo dungeon theme when killing off those miserable Succubuses, I can have my Cu Sidhe chomp up those miserable "cunning runts" accompanied by the wonderful voice of Cecilia Bartoli singing Scarlatti's San Filippo Neri?
If so....cool!
-
media players also use lot more resources and have graphical interfaces and could result heavy to keep going while the game is open...That is just so neat...I can't begin to tell ya, Pinco....oh sure, all of us have run music players while playing UO but to have the ability to have it integrated into the game itself, without having to lose those important tactical sound cues, is wonderful!
-
4.1e
- Fixed the healthbar width.
- Fixed the heartbeat speed that could be too fast for low leve systems.
- Added a sound to the *bob* message.
- Added a sound to "Uh oh! That doesn't look like a fish!" message.
- Added a sound to "You are no longer protected with Gift of Life." message.
- Added a sound to "Your weapon has been disarmed!" message.
- Added the volume for the heartbeat in the user settings -> sound.
- Now the Play Music action also accepts the full path for mp3/wav files (so there is no need to move the music file from where you keep it).
Definitely isn't working for me. I discovered I wasn't using the latest version, so I upgraded and it still didn't work. I don't enter anything and the only button that I can click on is the button to import from UOA and I don't even have that installed. It works for me... remember that the butto will became active only for a blank character... if you just enter the name or something else the button will stay disabled...I'm trying to import a character into the template editor, and I'm having no luck.
