I assume what you meant was that you would not get paid for that job. (contractor I'm guessing?).
If you go do a job, you get paid if you do it right.
You probably also get a thank you, since you didn't cause the issue that you had to fix.
When is the last time you thanked Bush or Congress for something they did right?
If you do it wrong, you don't get a thank you. You get an unhappy customer, and you might not get paid. Moreover, you are never called again by that customer.
You have no problem being the complaining customer, why do you have so much problem with the thank you when its done right?
