Ive setup my vendors inluna with powerscrolls my goal is to sell 105-110s at a decent price. most importantly they are organized and easy to browse. im hop some of the bigger guilds or collectors of power scrolls out there would be willing to sell to me in bulk in order for me to keep up this one stop shop of well organized what most consider worthless scrolls. which i think are key to new players.

This will be very helpful. I admit I was a proponent of scroll binding to make the 120s more attainable, but I did not foresee the impact of shrinking the 110s available for resale to beginning characters.

YEa if you talk to most powerscroll sellers, i would say this has been for years 110s and 105s are not sold at all or sold only becauyse they want them to be available, the problem is on siege especially we need the 110s m ore then the prodo shards because of the economy. and even the 105s, but the vendors that have sold 105 are not organized and most the 110s are the same. so i would be willing to sell these very very little profit which is what im doing now in order to help the new players.
if you look at my vendors now you can easily browse them
this will take the bigger guilds though and the whole shard really coming together.

Gilfane's Scroll Company vendor in New Magincia has been selling most 110 and 115 scrolls for months and I have been keeping them stocked regularly. These are specifically targeted at new players and have been sold at prices much cheaper than even you are selling them. Unfortunately, someone has been stripping our stock recently, either for resale or to bind.

Same with the 105 PS vendor at GIL Vendors in Zento...

im the one that's bought out both along with every other cheap scroll around. to resell in one location to make it easier, the vendor in magincia was well organized and nice. but the 105 Gil vendor was horrible to shop. as they are all stacked. mine are organized per category etc. Ive combined it all into a one stop shop which i have had alot of people appreciating.

The problem by doing what you do is that you "steal" potential traffic from other vendor houses, good intentions or not. If a vendor house can´t supply a product without cleaning out other houses vendors, then they really shouldn´t offer that product in the first place.
I´m not a fan of the reselling tactic so the 105 vendor will remain empty for now. Let´s hope you find another supplier so it can re-open some day.

You speak about helping new players but then you go around buying up vendors that offer suits for 15K only to sell them at your vendor for 30K.
How is charging double of what they could´ve paid "helping new players"?

No, of course you don't want to start an argument. You don't want to discuss how you are buying out other people to sell at much higher prices on your own vendors. And how you are dressing this up as some kind of great service to the shard when you are just trying to manipulate the markets for your own profits.

funny you say that do the math with the rate vendors charge me amd i really making that much profit? im gonna pay for that stuff to sit on a vendor, and i'm gonna put out the intial amount of money. so my profit margin will be very slim. do the math. so really i'm not doing that for money, math says so and math never lies.

Many people know i paid 2 billion for this vendor house atl gold. would i buy a 2b vendor house and sell 25k suits to make my money back? even 400k suits. no i wouldnt, again i respectfully agree to disagree i know you guys will try to tarnish my name so no oine shops at my house. which is fine. i can afford to wait until they do or don't you provide your service ill provide mine both of us how we choose, without attacking the other person. :)

You still haven't answered how making New players pay twice what they would have paid is "good for the Shard" do the math on that.

My way of helping the community is to make a one stop shop which is what im working towards. if theres any new players that need help id love to help them on a individual basis. All of you are trying to smeear me which is fine i could care less i plan on writing exactly what im doing so everyone can see and you wont have to tarnish my reputation or try to at least. ill write out my view points you can agree or disagree i could care less. best wishes in your travels.

if you truly were trying to "help the shard", wouldn't leaving things at the vendor they are on at the price they are. then go and farm your own scrolls, make your own suits etc . . . and selling them at comparable prices to what everyone else sells them be the best way to do that?.

*sits on fence and looks left then right*

Heard and read this argument many times; vendors buying from cheaper vendors and reselling at higher prices.

Won't it just adjust itself? Lower priced vendors will either stop selling or increase their prices.

My halloween vendor (free plug), has goodies half the price of what i found for sale in new mag...Why did i price so low? Are the new mag vendors screaming that i undercut them? I hope not. Hopefully they bought my stuff and resold for higher. I just wanted the stuff bought.

I know im comparing apples and oranges (powerscrolls and orange webs)...but isn't it my right to sell what i want and for how much?

You, and others, should care because it hurts those vendors' service to the community and reputation.
Tjalle, i do not care, because there is nothing I can do about it except raise my prices/stop selling stuff. That is all i can do. I quit selling certain things on my vendors due to this tactic, (which is a legitimate business tactic by the way), and I will sell them in person when I hear people asking for them (usually give it away though). these vendors' reputation is not being hurt, i will continue to use your vendors and Freja's and Hoff's, because you are long term supporters of Siege, and that is what I am all about, supporting Siege. If Pendragon wants to do business in this fashion, it is Pendragons right, it is also your right to stop selling these items from a vendor. My whole beef in this situation is saying that doing a 100% mark up on items bought in bulk, is helping the shard, other than that . . . I will shut up now, I have said my piece and gone on longer than I should have.
