nb, i'm getting a bit bored of Albion already as it really is just a grind on low level resources to level up, seems like the whole point of the game is to just make enough gold to pay for next months premium status??
Well, if youre getting bored already then youre probably doing it wrong!
What is it youre focussing on?
No matter what you decide to focus on, the game doesnt really start until T4. Everything up to T3 is really the tutotial part. Ideally you should be getting all three weapon and armour branches to T3, as its at that point that the destiny board branches out into many more weapon and armour skills and you can test out and specialise in these at T4. Ideally once youve found the build you want to play its better to specialise from T4 onwards (although Ive gone for both the great frost staff and great cursed staff as I cant decide between the two yet). Its also very easy to change path.
Are you gathering (thats lucrative even at lower tiers (especially stone which is always in demand for buildings))?
Those gathered raw resources can be refined into workable materials which crafters use and sell well.
Have you dipped into the extensive crafting options?
Have you got your own island yet and looked at farming crops, herbalism or even raising mounts?
What about cooking or potion brewing? Food is always in huge demand to feed workstations on guild islands
Have you ran any expeditions yet (group expeditions open at T4 reaver) and its a great way to get teamed up with a group of 5 and do a PvE expedition. You''ll be able to see how a group dynamic role works and witness first hand a lot of different builds and how they function. you'll also make 6k silver for your first run in a day plus gather silver, loot (every loot drop is a player crafted item that has been sold on the black market) and fame during the expedition
Have you tried hellgates yet? 5v5 group PvP in a dungeon.
What about a straightforward group dungeon crawl for fame?
What about a guild (essential in this game) to participate in GvG's and experience large scale PvP as well as gaining access to a guild island and all its crafting and refining stations?
Theres a TON to do, you just need to know how to get involved in it.
As for silver, I would never use it to pay for premium time, I'll simply subscribe for $6.95/month on the best package. I'll use silver to update my armour and weapons and keep a few sets on hand should I need them, upgrading my island, etc
