Tongue-biting time. Whenever I read a complaint about a house falling unexpectedly I get an overwhelming urge to reply with something unhelpful like 'You could just pay for the account'. I guess I'd have more sympathy if I ever did the 90 day roulette with my accounts.
Done my 'good deed' for the day, sent Heidi to herd the reptalons deeper into labyrinth, away from Miasma. Can't shift Rend though.

Herding can be fun. I did a piece for Stratics called Heidi's epic journey, but it was 'rearranging' left over champ spawn in T2A that was the most fun, when there was a lot of activity there. A few left over kirin and unicorn from Oaks made a heck of a welcome party for any Red running through Delucia.
So - I booted up the pc after lunch and found myself playing freecell instead of UO. No internet! Didn't come back up till 6pm
usual reaction to the new publish on UHall I see. If anyone wants to read it, I've written a new page called 'money' on my site. I hope it will help people understand the new system.
Luckily I don't actually need to move up there, just spend a day every couple of weeks. Elland actually, so don't have to venture into Halifax.... But understand the sentiment!

Murphy hates me! I thought I'd have a go at trying to catch a fish or two for this contest. I took a can of 300 golden tuna bait to Tokuno. I was catching big fish, giant koi. Those aren't the ones I want - so I thought maybe a bit of luck would help. I rubbed the luck statue and went back to the boat.
It changed my luck all right! I've stopped catching the koi.
So - my Golden Tuna bait eventually got me something other than giant koi - an ancient samurai fish!

I s'pose this just shows how long I have been away...
... fishing meant either 8*8ing for skill gains; or Merganser (my little fisher-pixie), causing chaos at FCB open net-toss events by casting multiple fabled nets when the screen was already covered in Kraken.
... How things change... (except for Barian, Petra & Valura... (and Saunders & Trev & Barney & Nixon - but they don't babble anymore))
