- Fixed a bug that prevents the visibility of the character skills on the skill tracker at login.
- Added some check to prevents the pet bar to go stack with the other mobiles.
For now I'm not going to bring it back for 2 reasons:Two things.
1) I'm still sticking to 3.6f because I just love the small radar map. Wish it could be like that again. I don't care about it being buggy cause I never zoom out that far. If you have some spre time please add a toggle to reenable the old map/atlas switching.
there is no export file, just open template editor and press the button to import the character data from EC. Read the manual for more informations.2) I can't get this export character for the template editor to work. To be exact, I can't find the file being created that is to imported in the template editor. Anyone can give me a hint what might I do wrong here?

1) For some crash caused by the map itself.
2) Because the atlas is much more easy to use than the old radar.
Probably I'll give some graphical enhancement to the atlas window instead

I could add the other worlds to the server lines map if is just for see the world mapThanks, Pinco
Quick question. I know the Atlas replaced the radar map and, when minimized and placed in a constant, easily scannable spot, is indeed an improvement. One advantage to the previous system is missing however....that is unless I've missed a feature.
Switching from radar map to the Atlas brought up a far larger, adjustable map suitable for an Atlas: something more strategic than tactical, a way to see, literally and figuratively the larger picture.
As it is now it can be a bit cumbersome. You have to drag the Atlas out of it's neatly placed spot on your screen, drag one corner to enlarge it, and often put yourself in peril by doing so. This is why they had two types of map display to begin with after all.
Is there a way to set and toggle between two modes: a tactical, small, zoomed in Atlas that functions as the radar map did, and another that brings up a configurable, larger map zoomed out to larger scale?

- Fixed the compass location on the map window.
- Fixed a bug in the paperdoll that prevents you to pick up the right items from the character image.
- The character title on the paperdoll now is shown in 2 lines: name on first line and title on the second (instead of using the comma).
- Every character/NPC title now is shown in a new line instead of a long name in 1 line (this works while your cursor is on the mob and by using all names).
- In the paperdoll, now the items background is half-transparent so you can see the layer image.
- Upgraded to the new client features.
I was too curious to see the new features that I cannot waitYou sir, are unbelievable... *looks at his watch*
The patch has been live for all of two or three hours?
And thank you.
is part of an old feature that won't show the label of the mobile with an healthbar open, thanks to remind me that I have to remove itI can't seem to get any NPCs/Mobs to appear when using object handles (on any setting)
there is 1 line at the bottom of the pub 70 notes... but as always just says that there is patch and 90% of the new features are secretMost odd, as there were no release notes with this patch. Went to the Herald site and there were no release notes there that I could find, apart from publish 70 being pushed back for obvious reasons given that two thirds of our fellow players live in Japan.

I think I can do 2 size of the atlas: default and "big". Probably I can to do that on the next versionI can see that....well...what I mean is that I cannot "see" that because, as we all know, having a fully itemized list would ruin any surprise.
Fortunately I have a lot of guys on Great Lakes and they copied GL to TC1. Thus, rather than learn that whole system of rapid fire character and "stuff" generation, I could just log in with some of my guys and look around.
As Llewen noted, with uncharacteristic yet appropriate enthusiasm, the new map is wonderful. You nailed perfectly the proper balance between function and appearance. Other graphic elements such as backpacks, containers and other things, have too much functional, screen real estate overhead to employ them in legacy style. Not so with that map. Outstanding!
Regarding screen space, I know I've asked about this before yet I remain curious whether it's possible: allowing players to set and save multiple map sizes the way the size settings are saved now for various UI elements (pack, map, paperdoll). It would just wonderful to be able to either select from among player selectable/configurable scales - Map1, Map2, Map3 and so on. Or simply toggle between two sizes: radar size and an atlas view.

- Removed an old feature that automatically put on ingore list the mobiles with the healthbar open.
- TEST FEATURE: The paperdoll tabs are now 2 instead of 3: Character and Profile. In character you'll being able to see all the equipment.
- Added a green button to the map window:
+ Pressing the button allow you to enlarge the map temporarily for tactical purposes.
+ Pressing the button while the map is large, will restore the map dimensions and position.
I'm gonna fix it, thanks for the donationAll:
FYI, if you want to kick something into the kitty and, like me, you cannot read Italian, the PayPal page you will be taken to is confusing. I used the translation feature of FireFox and its translation told me to enter a decimal point and zeros after the donation amount. Don't do that. Just enter the amount. Otherwise you'll get an error and be unable to complete the transaction.

there is a compass on the bottom right that point the northPinco your the best! Oh and by the way that New Map is Totally Cool! I LOVE IT! I didn't notice if it had N,S,E,W on it... but it's awesome.
I need the directions for the directionally impaired. I don't know left from right or North from South. And I can never remember which is east or west.
say thanks to the devs for this new shiny bug... it's something inside the client that cannot be fixed by meOne two things, Pinco: one I suspect is a bug and the second a matter of preference:
1. My Gargoyle character is nearly naked now on his paperdoll - only race to appear that way. He's wearing his shirt, talon boots and wing armor but the rest of his suit, plus his shield, no longer appears.
yes, I can do that2. Love the Atlas View. Is there any way for it to remember where you placed it after you have moved it? It appears dead center in the middle of the screen. I move it to the upper corner. When I select it again it reappears in the center of the screen.
Remember that this new view is not the final one, I'm working in a more graphical paperdoll... actually I'm not satisfied by the raw window for it :/Not sure I like the new combined view paper doll but perhaps I will once I get used to it.
Thanks again

- Now the tactical map saves the last position when closed.
- Added the new graphical paperdoll.
- Added the new profile window.
- Fixed the "Honor Wears Off" center screen text.
- Added the Pinco's UI logo and version number to the main menu.
- The main menu position will be automatically saved for each character.
Wow! It looks amazing! Great job!I hope many of you could appreciate the new paperdoll
the black area should be enough to cut up the character images, I tried with different race and the only part which is not black are the feets that could go on the bottom "platform". However a toggle could be very problematic to do, but if you provide me some screens that can't be cutted up I can try to put the character more into the black areaThe paperdoll window is neat, but I take a lot of screenshots of EM controlled RPCs and such. The lack of the wider black border and the talisman position could be problematic...
Any chance that this could be a toggleable feature?
Love the profile window, its much much nicer!
yes, would be nice to see more texture packs around... and icon packs too!...
Looking into everything to see what should be changed to fit with Third Dawn Texture Pack.
From the looks of it, people will want to pick and choose which XML files to use for which UI pieces once they download the two packages. For the time being, I fully endorse people playing around with how they want their texture pack to work with Pinco's UI.
to use the default paperdoll style you have to gather a previous version of the paperdoll.lua too or you could get some errors......
BTW excellent choice on the Map window... looks great.
The paperdoll is cool, but I'm not sure it really fits Third Dawn which prompted the above statements... I'll leave that to the individual user though, if you want the paperdoll to use Pinco's new version, keep PaperdollWindow.XML etc from Pinco's package. If you prefer the older one, use the same file from Third Dawn.
I've taken another break from mod work simply because I just acquired Civ 5 and am giving it a run through (A bit different than 4 was, some things I like, some not as much as 4, others just have to get used to them and figure out the new tactics).
Icons are an odd thing for me... a lot of them I'm not sure I "get" as to why people use them, but I'm working through them to make them match the theme better. Once I get Third Dawn icons done, Copper and Stone should go faster.
A fellow Civaholic! Have you ever played any of the amazing fantasy mods for Civ IV? Fall Further just rocks, although it can take a beast of a machine to have it run well.I've taken another break from mod work simply because I just acquired Civ 5 and am giving it a run through (A bit different than 4 was, some things I like, some not as much as 4, others just have to get used to them and figure out the new tactics).
thanks, I'm looking into the map problem to solve itRegarding the map, and especially the Paperdoll, I got this strong feeling as I looked at it that this is really how it should have looked from the start on the "factory" Enhanced Client. Thank goodness we have a UO Caravaggio to set it right
Only problem I have found thus far is a minor one. When I switch back to the radar view from the atlas view, the radar map does not return to its original position. It sits a bit lower on the screen. The atlas view, however, does work wonderfully now and can be used as reference in dangerous places as it no longer has to appear in the middle of the screen.
Thanks, Pinco

- Fixed a bug into the map that prevents to save the position while switch between tactical/default.
- Added the missing description to the new legacy paperdoll setting.
- Now you can use the screenshot helper tool to take screenshots of the characters/NPC by opening their paperdoll first.
- Now you can scale the gump generated by the server, BUT all those gumps will have the same size.
- Added a new setting to the user settings -> pinco's ui: Enable Auto-Close Veteran Rewards Gump.
this bug was fixed, but sometimes returnNice!
The atlas view also does something the original never did: preserves the zoom setting you last used.
One bug I kept meaning to mention that, dang it, never did was that skill point totals stopped appearing on the skills dialog box a few versions ago. I have been using fully built characters lately and, thus, failed to notice.
-
The problem wasn't that it was in the large view, it was in the small view and had set itself to the same size as the large view.I have a problem. When I logged back on the last time my map was in the large view up in the upper right hand corner.

- Fixed the skills point total on the skill window.
- Fixed the buttons on the main menu that were not usable on the window border.
- Fixed some graphical glitches.
- Fixed a problem with the mobiles bar that sometimes generates more healthbar than your limit.
- If you log out with the tactical map open the default map will not lose the original size.
- Now the tactical map has a different zoom, can be resized and scaled.
- The map combo boxes are disabled by default.
- Changed the logo into the main menu. Now it's animated.
well, I release the file but you can download the latest version only once per weekDon't take this wrong, but have you ever considered a weekly update? In the past 2 days I've downloaded 4 revisions.......
I appreciate you spend so much time hammering out bugs and making improvements, but Good Lord man, we all want you to have time to enjoy playing the game too...
No complaints here. I like it when bugs get fixed.well, I release the file but you can download the latest version only once per week
