Greetings,
Milady Andrasta, Milady Molly *smiles and bows*
Salutations to many others in this thread, not excluding the OP, Raistlin which I do remember, and Greypawn.
I found this thread interesting, and even if late, thought to spend some time and pay my respects and reminisce the old adventures we all had together in our fair Britannia of old, that still sits in one of the warmest places of my heart, along with many of you.
I shall add only a few words relating to the topic,
To speak of History of the fair lands of Britannia is to embark on an grand Quest for Truth that has no end. Atlantic's history cannot be written or described, even compiled by one soul alone. And In spite of many that have tried, some even proclaim having succeeded there is always holes always something missing always some omission or inaccuracy.
First of all, there can be a different story of our Shard depending upon whom you knew, where you lived and during what period. Even those that have continued walking these lands up to this day, cannot describe everything.
In the same fashion as the same story of the same event can be told by each individual peace that once belonged to the Gem from whence it came from.
The event, the shattering, was shared by all its peaces, yet each peace has a different story to tell.
And if that is truly the way of how the world works, then which peace is more important? Which peace is the one that holds the truth?
None is important, none holds the truth, all are important all hold the truth.
Such is the magic of this world.
May the Virtues Shine upon thine path!
