As the title says, I'd like to find a mage weapon, staff preferably, with spell channeling. I've been using a training wand with -magic, but now that I've reached RoT I'd like to switch to a regular mage weapon.

I was getting ready to log on. Does the weapon need to be SC/NP or does it matter?

I guess I might have been confused about what I need. I thought the wand I was using was only for training because it had negative points to magery on it, but someone told me all mage weapons have negative magery. I'm a necro/mage/Peacer, so I'm not sure what I should be using.

Oh, is SC spell-channeling? I need spell channeling. I'm still not sure what NP means.
SC/NP is Spell Channeling No Penalty. The Spell Channeling property always has -1 FC (Faster Casting), which makes you cast slower. The FC penalty can be offset I the weapon also has 1 FC on it as well as SC (1-1=0). I responded to your post in Player's Corner with some useful information and links.

All Mage Weapons are -XX Magery, only a few artifacts are not.
