Heya,
I was listening Stones, and it got me sooo freaking nostalgic.
I played UO actively 2000-2010 and been activating my acc for 1 month just to keep my house up, but I think next time I collect my valuables to bank.
When I started UO 2000, I was 13y old and this game just swallowed me. I remember summer holidays, during the day hanging out with my friends, but the whole evening and night just playing UO. Defending cities from invasions, going hunting with random groups, trying to save money for my first house.
Well, after EA took over, AoS etc. took a lot of the magic away. I just focused on PvP and champ hunting, good times still thou. But yeah, now UO just isn't UO for me anymore, and my shard does not have the playerbase anymore for it to be fun.
Do you think any new game could give the same magical feeling again, or was it just because UO was the first one? At least none of the new MMORPG has given the same feeling, but maybe one will someday.
