Glad they got her active again. Now if they would just get the Vorpal Blade to activate that void deal we would be setSherry the Mouse.
No, on Catskills they aren't. At least not where they used to be and nowhere near a bank. They're definitely around. I just checked Atlantic. There are roughly 1-2 in most (not all) cities.
Ya'll reckon the ones that are left will soon be crying, "Britannia Unemployment levels hit all time high of 12.5%?"No, on Catskills they aren't. At least not where they used to be and nowhere near a bank.
Just not Luna, Britain, or Haven, the only three cities with people in them. Even though there were criers spamming nonsense about giant turkeys in all of those places just days ago. They're definitely around. I just checked Atlantic. There are roughly 1-2 in most (not all) cities.
LMAONot to be bitchy, but there's been a crier in front of Brit bank since the Clinton Administration, and now suddenly poof.
So am I smoking dope and there HASN'T been a town crier at West Britain Bank for... at least the last ten years since I started playing up until a few days ago? Anyone?Anyway, I just went to Catskills as well took five minutes to recall and gallop around and found three town criers. They're around. That's all I can say.
It is probably a new "time sink", er "feature", Randomly spawning Town Criers. They re-spawn in new and random locations each day.So am I smoking dope and there HASN'T been a town crier at West Britain Bank for... at least the last ten years since I started playing up until a few days ago? I just ran around Luna and Brit on Atlantic; no cryers around the main bank of either city. They're definitely around. I just checked Atlantic. There are roughly 1-2 in most (not all) cities.
It's the holiday season, they just wanted to give the normal criers some much deserved time off. We just have to deal with the scab criers for a little while is allPerhaps you accidentally scooped up the normal town cryers when you took out the turkey event ones? Surely at least worth a second glance.
Three town criers on Catskills. And Sherry the Mouse. Does this mean the invasion event is so secret that only players who regularly go to Cove or own a rare Sherry statue will know about the event? Is this intended?Ah, there were some town criers hired by Al Wilson of the Moonglow Royal Zoo that focused exclusively on the great turkey invasion of last month and were not part of the "official" town crier organization. For those with the Sherry statues, you'll notice it never spoke of any foul fowls running amok. Since the turkeys have moved on, so have these rent-a-criers.

They were obtained thru a turn in a couple of years ago by turning in Magincia rubble etc. The points can no longer gotten that I know of but as of a few months ago you could still turn in the tickets and get the rewards. I would call them kinda rare, but not expensive. You can find them under a mil fairly easy. Are sherry statues rare?
No. To pull the curtain away for a minute, the respawner kicked in during the publish and the town criers were placed in random parts of each town (not necessarily near banks). Yes, their locations are less than optimal and that will be addressed, but with the publish out, it can't be addressed immediately. In the meantime, I am confirming that the statement "there are no town criers on my shard" is false and that they are not difficult to locate if time was spent exploring each of the towns.Three town criers on Catskills. ALL i can say is wow people. Has it really came to pancakes about the town cryer locations? I think some of yall really like this game but are picking it apart just to have something to pancake about...
Take a deep breath walk around a little just because they are not in the same spot they have been in for 10 years dont mean the world is ending. Check the stores of the town maye they decided to do some shopping.
Well, I personally don't give a rat's arse about town criers since I have a Sherry statue. So why do I post it? Because people who don't read these boards and weren't there for the Spring Cleaning 2008 will probably not be aware of an invasion in the first place. It is not my job to entertain the players.ALL i can say is wow people. Has it really came to pancakes about the town cryer locations? /SignedIs there anything that can be screwed up in an MMO that some ****** won't scream "LAZY" and tell us to just work through? I have a better idea, how about they don't just randomly **** up long-standing features?
By the way, what exactly did the spawner do that it had never done previously in the last decade-plus of town criers being right where they always were? On the bright side, we don't need to hear from the criers since there appear to be no invasions.No. To pull the curtain away for a minute, the respawner kicked in during the publish and the town criers were placed in random parts of each town (not necessarily near banks). Why can't it be handled now? Why can't a GM(s)S/dev(s) just log on a move them? No. To pull the curtain away for a minute, the respawner kicked in during the publish and the town criers were placed in random parts of each town (not necessarily near banks). Begin sarcasm because part of the third string dev team just told you to get off your ass and look for them, and "that's all I can say" /end sarcasmWhy can't it be handled now? Why can't a GM(s)S/dev(s) just log on a move them?
