Which creature has the lowest karma?

I am trying to maximize my chiv spells, and want to know what the absolute lowest karma any creature has.

My character had around 16000 karma until I just did a renowned wyvern, now it's at 11000.

Any help is appreciated.

That makes no sense...you lost 5000 karma for doing a positive karma mob?

red death is the one who gives most fame/karma (if we exclude champions and peerless). With this guy I reach about 28k karma & fame and still gaining a little of both...

When you kill Positive Karma creatures, you loose karma, when you kill negative karma mobs, you gain karma, Karma is subtractive, not additive.

IE let's say demons have -500 karma, killing one causes you to loose -500, the negatives combine, do mighty morphing power ranger moves, and end up adding 500 karma to your karma magic.

So... it does make sense... you just didn't understand the system.

Don't forget you gain double fame and karma for killing mobs in Fel.

I know, but if there was a red death in fel, you will reach 36k fame/karma :)
thrasher basically has a too low fame, maybe greater dragons or ancient wyrms in fel would be a good choice...

The point being that his karma declined from killing the mobs.

the renowned wyvern spawn starts with faery dragons, surely he killed lot of them and he lose lot of karma ;)

He only stated he did a renowned wyvern, not that he did anything else. The fairy dragons could easily be the explaination why he lost karma.

only fame is doubled in fel. karma gains/losses are the same on any facets.

Karma is capped for chivalry spells, like around 20000, so any karma gains beyond that is just to buffer yourself when performing evil deeds, or bragging rights. I gain some from paragon succubi nowadays.

A simple guide to karma for solo creatures:

daemons/orge lords - 15000
lich lords/ice fiends - 18000
succubus/balron - 23000
paragon lich lord - 25500
paragon succubus/balron - 32000

red death has more karma/fama than succubus and balron :)

however I killed the renowned wyvern a lot of times and only the fairy dragons drop my karma...

Standard Wyvern fame/karma (from Hunters Guide):

Fame: Level 3 (4000) Karma: Level 3 (-4000)
Notice the negative karma? Seeing the OP tackled a Renowned, I would expect the karmic hit would be somewhat higher as well.

But I gotta agree with you ... it doesn't seem to make sense to me I take a karmic hit but gain in fame on the same foe.

I'm not that sure about Red Death's karma, but I think karma is bit limited to ~32767 positive or negative, so it would have to be around the same as a paragon succubi/balron, if that.

Once you get past 20000 karma though, your chivalry abilities stop improving unless you invest more skill into them. The only spell which might still improve could be holy light, but I haven't noticed any real difference.

You can only gain fame since it can't go negative. Meer Eternals offer about the same ammount of fame as a lich lord, though they are negative karma.

exactly 32000 is the upper and lower limit number

What do you mean it doesn't make much sense?

Karma is how good or evil you are.

Fame is how renowned you are.

That being said, you can be evil and famous.

you can be benevolent and famous.

Seems to make perfect sense.

If you loose karma, but game fame, then the creature was good, and better known than you, ie had a higher fame level.

And they probably are, generally anyone familiar with the spawn would assume that he meant the Renowned Wyvern Spawn and not just the creature. I thought you simply misunderstood the system instead of trying to point out the OP somehow lacked intelligence for not inherently knowing that he lost karma from the Fairy Dragons.

So I have a Glorious Lord Pally and this Wyvern attacks me. I did not attack it first ... it aggro'd on me. How is that "good"?

it's not good -_- did you not read anything above your post or know the nature of the spawn?

basically anything with a blue name tag will make lose karma, with exception to the lord oaks champ spawn wich can spawn grey tagged creatures.

Almost all creatures that are grey tagged will give you karma, depending on the level of the creature, and how much karma you already have.

This is a good guide to go by i think, correct me if im wrong.

But like another poster said, to raise karma fast and high, go to fel thrashers, ballys, lich lords, etc etc.

I to use karma for my chiv but lose an average of 2k points each spawn i do becuase i am also a necro. Its fun trying to keep them balanced right!

Lol at the argument about how I lost karma. That had nothing to do with the point of this post.

I'll be off to kill red death now. Thanks for all the relevant responses.
