When you kill Positive Karma creatures, you loose karma, when you kill negative karma mobs, you gain karma, Karma is subtractive, not additive. That makes no sense...you lost 5000 karma for doing a positive karma mob?
Don't forget you gain double fame and karma for killing mobs in Fel.red death is the one who gives most fame/karma (if we exclude champions and peerless). With this guy I reach about 28k karma & fame and still gaining a little of both...
The point being that his karma declined from killing the mobs. When you kill Positive Karma creatures, you loose karma, when you kill negative karma mobs, you gain karma, Karma is subtractive, not additive.
IE let's say demons have -500 karma, killing one causes you to loose -500, the negatives combine, do mighty morphing power ranger moves, and end up adding 500 karma to your karma magic.
So... it does make sense... you just didn't understand the system.
He only stated he did a renowned wyvern, not that he did anything else. The fairy dragons could easily be the explaination why he lost karma.the renowned wyvern spawn starts with faery dragons, surely he killed lot of them and he lose lot of karma![]()
What do you mean it doesn't make much sense?Standard Wyvern fame/karma (from Hunters Guide):
Fame: Level 3 (4000) Karma: Level 3 (-4000)
Notice the negative karma? Seeing the OP tackled a Renowned, I would expect the karmic hit would be somewhat higher as well.
But I gotta agree with you ... it doesn't seem to make sense to me I take a karmic hit but gain in fame on the same foe.
And they probably are, generally anyone familiar with the spawn would assume that he meant the Renowned Wyvern Spawn and not just the creature. I thought you simply misunderstood the system instead of trying to point out the OP somehow lacked intelligence for not inherently knowing that he lost karma from the Fairy Dragons. He only stated he did a renowned wyvern, not that he did anything else. The fairy dragons could easily be the explaination why he lost karma.
it's not good -_- did you not read anything above your post or know the nature of the spawn? So I have a Glorious Lord Pally and this Wyvern attacks me. I did not attack it first ... it aggro'd on me. How is that "good"?
