Of course they haven't. It's pretty clear at this point that there are players who just WILL NOT switch to KR, no matter how good anyone else thinks it is. They don't play KR but come and list all the things that were wrong with it in the 8 minutes they had it running ANYTIME anyone asks or does some ridiculous poll about what client everyone is playing.
[/ QUOTE ]It is an attitude like that which alienates people who would run KR if certain problems were addressed. I went as far as spending money on new hardware to get decent performance out of the KR client so I could give it a fair shake. Did you do the same?
I specifically checked that the problem I mentioned in my post still existed right before I posted. Did you bother to check to see if the problem I noted still existed before you posted your accusation? And, quite frankly, I don’t give a rat’s behind how good you, or anyone else, thinks the KR client is. I’m the one who is going to have to play it; my expectations were simple and reasonable yet EA has yet to achieve them.
KR has problems, has had a lot of problems, and the biggest problem is that it was “released” long before it should have seen the light of day. You never get a second chance to make a first impression and EA shot themselves in the foot - or maybe the head - with that premature release. It was buggy, totally disregarded the UI preferences of existing players, gutted many long standing fundamental attributes of the virtual world and, for a graphics upgrade, the graphics were not good at all.
Now EA is faced with an uphill battle winning hearts and minds of the players. Flaming people when they point out a bug that has not been addressed after at least nine months is probably not going to do much to further your cause.
