What is your favorite template to have on your fisherman?

ive used a Tamer.. a mystic....straight mage.... never an archer... although I may start using my archer(which isn't my fisherman) and do an ancient net to see how he does... a bard would probably be good

My fisher rarely goes to any dangerous place or fights against evil creatures. So I put mage skills plus musicianship and peacemaking, which is pretty enough for dealing with occasional sea serpents from the deep.

My fisher is a Mystic/Mage/Spellweaver normally (eval, Inscription, focus for the rest of the template, with leftover points in Med), but I stone off one of the skills for Fishing.

Having a water ele slayer scrappers helps in that regard.

I remember you saying that in another thread Basara... that's always a good template...the peace mage makes the serpents easy kill that works nice too

I take my fisher to some of the darkest deepest places in UO and love peace!

I also take mine to some deep, dark and nasty recesses of UO.. so I run a Stealth Peace/Provo Mage fisher.

forgot to add.. he also runs Stealing. Gonna be in doom etc.. may as well snag the stealables for turn in points.

Any dungeon with a water hole... tram / fel / doom / malas / just about any dungeon just to say I have done it. I do have a massive rare fish collection from some of these places I will say that the labyrinth is prob one of most fun / interesting until you get it set up. Silly ren can be a pai!

BTW, if you're not looking for location specific dungeon fish....

ALL the water in Eodon counts as dungeon fishing, and you can even use lobster traps from the shore in the narrowest of streams.
