Sorry if this has been answered before but my search-fu has failed to find my answer.

I cant seem to login after selecting an item for the cart. I get:

"We're sorry, but we've encountered an error.
Please try again (114)."


Anyone know a way around this?

I am on the phone with EA customer service now. When I click add to cart and try to log in I get the error message "The member name you have entered does not exist in our system.
Please try again. "

I called them last monday and the first person couldn't help me so they transfered me to level 2 support and he couldn't help so, so he sent an e-mail to level 3 support and I got an e-mail stating

"Thank you for contacting EA Support regarding your issues with your game. As a gamer myself, I completely understand your frustration, and I will do everything I can to assist you further. I apologize for the inconvenience, but we're currently looking into this issue. Please allow us a little more time to investigate and find a solution.

Should you require further assistance about this or any Electronic Arts game in the future, please visit our web site and review our extensive Self Help Knowledge base (Support Home Page).

I got that e-mail on 2/26 and still nothing. So today, on my day off from work I am back at step one talking to the first person who picked up the phone. So far I have been on the phone for 25 minutes and nothing. I love the best in class customer support :/

update.... after being on the phone with customer support for 50 minutes I was told to wait longer for teir 3 help. I told her it has been over a week since teir 3 got involved and it has been since Saturday that they have been "working on this issue" how much time do they need. She didn't know, so I guess I get to wait for 4 or 5 months before I get to buy a couple of the forged artifacts.

Well thats disconcerting to hear. I would think the company would want you to spend money.

or use opera or firefox to buy the items

I usually run Chrome but I tried FF and IE. Also did the uo_ thing. Still a no go. Thanks for the suggestions.
