UOCartographer Black Screen Fix

Okay, here is the solution for the BLACK screen that everyone is ranting about.​

Its Quite Simple, just read and follow the instrutions​

​

You need winrar or a zipping program WINRAR i find the best​

(For WinRar Old) - http://www.oldapps.com/winrar.php?old_winrar=7822?download​

​

First you need UOAssist​

Direct Download - http://download.updateace.com/Prog1/UOAssist.exe​

Next you need UOCartography​

Direct Download - http://downloaduocartographer.com/download-uocartographer/UOCSetup.exe​

Next Download Missing MUL files FIX​

Direct Download - http://downloaduocartographer.com/download-uocartographer/UOCartographermulfilesfix.zip​

To Download LAbles click here​

(Goes in same folder as MUL FILES)​

After all the downloading you need to run UOCartography as Administrator​

​

Then right click the black screen - hit option - make sure the EC Path and CC path is correct. (Close UOC)​

After that open Missing MUL Files FIX​

​

Copy all the files from that zip file into >My Documents >UOCartography​

​

Go To Options in UOC and UOAssit make sure you change the 2D Directory to the correct path which is normally something like this​

C:/ Programs (x86) / Electronic Arts / Ultima Online Classic​

​

Now Run UOAssist as Administrator, Click Continue to Start UO - Login to UO​

Last, Run UOCartography as Administrator AGAIN, and all should work.​

OK got off the black screen but UOC shows me standing in Britian.. I am in Moonglow? Wierd?

Well make sure yo start UOAssist as Administrator, and when loggin into UO fully log onto a character, and make sure UOAssist is acturally running, then Start UOC as Admin

I did everything step by step. And everything u said in my reply.. I am standing outside vesper and is says (you) and shows my dot in Britian..

Which version are you running? Classix OR enhanced?

Lol I'm very happy that it had helped and fixed your problem, I am a cheese pizza kind of guy, with a whole lot of extra cheese =) if anyone has any other trouble I'll be more than happy to post video tutorials now since ei finally got the proper software to do so now =)
