Onr on Europa, But it's already on the beach. What shard has houses in Magencia? None that I know of are on Baja.
despite the fact its only 15:44:00 EST now, thats well done.24 Feb 2011 15:51:14 EST
Can no longer place house on the beach as it stands now and there are houses that are not on the beach on some shards. The way they said it, it sounded like there were houses other places. I remember when you could place them on the beach only and no where else. Can you still place houses there on the beach?
I just hope they fix the game play. By fix I mean balance/tweak/update/completely redo/nerf specific things.*sigh*
Sounds like once again they have *their* plan on how things will be and we don't get any input.
Leaving improperly placed houses where they are shouldn't be included in anyone's plans for Magincia.*sigh*

They won't be able to top Luna for convenience. They're going to have to add something unique to the area to draw people there.I just hope they don't make Magincia into Luna 2.0.
Reasonable prices would to it for me.They won't be able to top Luna for convenience. They're going to have to add something unique to the area to draw people there.
It also doesn't mean we won't have an influence for that matter; removing houses from a geographical area doesn't mean what gets put there is fixed, only that the Dev team needs unfettered access to the space... what gets put in that space may be up to us though.Leaving improperly placed houses where they are shouldn't be included in anyone's plans for Magincia.
I don't know why they would want to create a second Luna though. They could replicate the convenience factor with Magincia, but why bother? To further split up the player base?Depending on the way they design it, it could certainly compete with Luna. It wouldn't be hard to relocate the moongate to a central location on the island.
I would rather see the town rebuilt by the Devs. No big cubes! Then put something in place to award the buildings players. Make every building regardless of size have the same storage as a maxed out storage 18x18 has now. Limit each building to 3 or 4 vendors.
I'm not sure how the vendor situation will work but if its similar to DaoC it should work like this if they add a merchant system.I don't know why they would want to create a second Luna though. I dread NPC auctioneers. Player vendors in UO are one of it's unique stengths and a source of extreme charm. It's also a way to establish communities outside of cities.
Now if they go with a Warhammer auctioneer system which I think they may since somebody ( sorry forgot who did or I would give credit) had posted seeing in the code about auctioneers.Player market - The player markets are located in the housing zones unique to each realm, where no combat of any kind is permitted. Any character may enter the housing zone for its own realm and make purchases from the player market by means of an NPC known as the Market Explorer. However, in order to sell items on the player market a character must have access to a player-owned house which is equipped with an NPC merchant known as a Consignment Merchant.
The Auction House or AH is a system where players are able to buy and sell equipment between players. Generally it is represented by an NPC or Auctioneer. The AH lets you post your item in a pooled roster for a small fee, for each item you set a starting Bid and, if you so chose, a "Buy out" price. As such, if players do not wish you bid on your item and then have to wait for the auction's pre-determined time to end, they can "buy it out" for the set price. At which point the winning bidder will receive the item in their mailbox and the previous owner of the item the money they are due.
One in Felucca on Baja. Used to be more!None that I know of are on Baja.
In some ways I agree with this, in others I don't.I dread NPC auctioneers. Player vendors in UO are one of it's unique stengths and a source of extreme charm. It's also a way to establish communities outside of cities.
