Yea I'm sure it had a few on the warrior boards scared for a few seconds or so.I don't get what the title has to do with anything included in the FoF...
Or what about the durability issue with weapons?
Uh... I hope this is a joke. Mysticism SHOULD be playable WITHOUT Imbuing. What other spell system REQUIRES you to have a crafting skill in order to gain the best benefit out of it?Please tell me you are going to fix Cleansing Winds spell. It is way over powered. Plus Mysticism allows you to play it without imbuing. All thats needed for all the cool spells is Mysticism/Eval Int.
Yea, because Magery and Necromancy don't have secondary skill requirements for full effectiveness.Uh... I hope this is a joke. Mysticism SHOULD be playable WITHOUT Imbuing. What other spell system REQUIRES you to have a crafting skill in order to gain the best benefit out of it?
Magery gains a BONUS from Inscription. Mysticism REQUIRES imbuing in order for Spell Trigger to offer you more than 2 spells, for Healing Stone to heal more than a modicum of damage, for Enchant to be useful, for Animated Weapon to do more than nothing, for Stone Form to have any real purpose, and for Rising Colossus to be at its most effective. That's 6 of 16 spells that REQUIRE Mysticism to be at their full potential. And one of them requires Tactics as well.
As for Cleansing Winds being overpowered? Uh... come on.
I hope that Mythic's not going to kowtow to this kind of request, because frankly, Cleaning Winds should be left as is, and the rest of the spells should gain a SMALL bonus from Imbuing if that's the route they choose, but should be effective WITHOUT it.
But then, evaluating intelligence and spirit speak don't require millions of gold and an extremely long time to train.Yea, because Magery and Necromancy don't have secondary skill requirements for full effectiveness.

I already addressed that in my original post. Stop being a troll. Nice that you can post a bunch of dunce caps in response. I'm glad people like you are supposedly volunteering your time for the betterment of Stratics. Wonderful double-standard you have here. I don't believe I was a jerk in my response, so I'd appreciate it if you weren't one in yours.Yea, because Magery and Necromancy don't have secondary skill requirements for full effectiveness.

FixedBut then, evaluating intelligence and spirit speak don't require an extremely long time to train to 100.
Uh... neither Meditation nor Spirit Speak nor Evaluate Intelligence require millions of gold to train.Fixed
Are they seriously thinking about nerfing mysticism? I mean, I'm enjoying my new mystic, and I wouldn't call him weak exactly, but if they're planning on nerfing the skill into oblivion like they have with so much other previously-cool new stuff for SA, I'm not going to waste the effort to finish skilling him up and rounding out his suit.Uh... True... to 100. If you do champs regulary you wont spend a single gp past 100. But (on average) the time in the time it takes for you to do enough champs to get he right scrolls, fight off (or join) champ raids... requiring PvP skill (more time) and train skill/aquire skill for the above, you could have probably farmed enough gold to buy the scrolls 3x over.Uh... neither Meditation nor Spirit Speak nor Evaluate Intelligence require millions of gold to train.
You're correct there... I wasn't considering the Power Scrolls. I think it would be fairly close, and the other factor is the Power Scroll for 120 Imbuing or Mysticism. Mysticism, like Magery, is going to cost you an arm and a leg, and probably for the foreseeable future. Imbuing you can get from 50 relic fragments, but that's semi-expensive.True... to 100. To 120? Maybe to 100... But yeah, I do get what you're saying. If you are buying scrolls, eval alone will cost you 3x what it would take to get imbuing to 120.
100% LRC suit... heheChivarly is the most expensive skill in the game to train from any sort of purist point of view. No way to farm, craft or steal tithing
No. They pick questions that...Do they just pick the questions randomly?
Unless something has changed recently LRC does not cover tithing.100% LRC suit... heheChivarly is the most expensive skill in the game to train from any sort of purist point of view. No way to farm, craft or steal tithing
you are correctUnless something has changed recently LRC does not cover tithing.
No. They pick questions that...
Have been asked by players submitting questions...
Have been asked by players during a Stratics HoC Chat but did not get answered due to time...
Have been asked by players on forums, etc.
From there, It is a question of what they can answer (obviously asking how to dupe items will not get answered, etc...).
In this weeks FoF, I recognize 4 of the 5 questions as being leftovers from the last UO-HoC - so while these answers may not be what you want to know - someone wants the answer!
Try it yourself, I just verified...Unless something has changed recently LRC does not cover tithing.
Could have told you that.... it always has... dunno who started the rumor that it didn't but it does... personally I think that 100% LRC should be just that...Try it yourself, I just verified...
Sacred Journey, normal suit on my Chiv/Macer: 1435 to 1420.
100% LRC Suit, Sacred Journey: 1420 to 1420.
It absolutely, positively, confirmed in game, does cover tithing.
Just hang on to it and train it for fun. They nerfed the whey out of weaving less than six weeks after ML release, but for a good cause. It is still extremely useful but not wildly overpowered. Course it also does not cramp a temp all to heck and back. Are they seriously thinking about nerfing mysticism? doh! ><100% LRC suit... hehe
Personally I don't find spellweaving fun. It is a good skill with a high-level focus, but unless you play with 4 other weavers on a daily basis, it's kind of a chore to pull the weaver out. But I guess what I really want is a new skill that I could actually build a template around. Mysticism, currently, is good enough for that. It's no more powerful than necro or chiv, and certainly not magery, but it's a genuinely good skill. I don't think it's asking too much for it to remain that way, and seeing what was done to gargoyles in beta (in particular), I don't trust the devs to have a light touch.Just hang on to it and train it for fun. Heh I definitely did, especially since I just finished my Sampire lolYea I'm sure it had a few on the warrior boards scared for a few seconds or so.
It has Eval and Med Already, also Magery and Necromancy don't need Craft skills to use.Yea, because Magery and Necromancy don't have secondary skill requirements for full effectiveness.

They just try to make it sound cool so people don't get as mad when they read the sad amount of content that really is in there.I don't get what the title has to do with anything included in the FoF...
Wrong. They didn't repeat answers already given within posts (unless I'm mistaken). Refreshing pathetic answers are always better than repeated answers.People who complain about the quality of this Five on Friday should really look at some of the past ones. As far as Fivedays go, this is definitely on the better side.

Wait.. what? Gargoyles can fly? OMG! What if you use a bola while.....Wrong. They didn't repeat answers already given within posts (unless I'm mistaken). Refreshing pathetic answers are always better than repeated answers.
Sound cool gets your worship? This reference is for ~30ish people who watched worse-than-wheel-of-fortune gameshows.. on the gameshow network, I don't ever remember this show on broadcast tv.:bowdown:They just try to make it sound cool so people don't get as mad when they read the sad amount of content that really is in there.![]()
No, the 'sad amount of content'. Its funny 'cuz it's true...Sound cool gets your worship? This reference is for ~30ish people who watched worse-than-wheel-of-fortune gameshows.. on the gameshow network, I don't ever remember this show on broadcast tv.
Ah, you have a valid point.. but then again, I am happy with new info over repeated info. No, the 'sad amount of content'. Its funny 'cuz it's true...

As I said, nothing looks worse for EA/Mythic/BioWare than repeating answers.. any NEWs is good news. (Remembers the origin of the word news.)
This is the first FoF in a long time I've seen that doesn't repeat UHall posts with dev/(EA/Mythic/BioWare) answers. By all of my standards, this FoF was a success. Of course my standards are low..I completely concur, hence my sarcasm about the gargoyle flying.. Since it featured in what 4?...5? worthless FoFs...
