Don't do it! It's just hair, it will grow back!

I actually did that with a RP character-- a friend tried to help her dye her hair, but the dye "wouldn't take" and her hair fell out, so I slowly "grew it back" with increasingly long hair cuts over a few weeks. Another character wandered off into the woods and went full mountain man with long hair and beard when another character died. $8 haircuts are a bit of a hard sell for someone who uses appearance as part of their RP.

I had the 'buns' once for Halloween, my husband and I dressed up as Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia, I definitely wouldn't bother at $8 a pop....

I probably would have bought some at 2 bucks but 8... for sloppy hair I don't think so.
