I've never used one of these. Does it actually bring your corpse to you or just the items from your corpse? I was thinking this might be good to use in Shame with all the cursed items and such. Thanks in advance.

That's a wonderfull idea and, it would even be better, if, in order to be recharged, it would require a crafter or a combination of crafting skills (high skills....).
Perhaps even some new resources.......

Could be a good use for the "wilted soul fragments" drop from the primevil lich spawn. It is a rare drop and would be difficult to farm.

however, my post is asking Popps a question, how can he be so against the shard shield, that he will not use more than once or twice for the idea that people wont BUY xfer tokens, but like to have his undertaker's staff which i guess he uses often and maybe even buys one or two, should be allowed to be recharged, and depriving EA of his money

good idea or not, how can he within 24hrs say opposing things to suit?

Well, without data it is hard to say but I suspect that the sales of transfer tokens outdo the sales of undertaker staffs by quite a wide margin......
Granted, this is merely a guess on my side, so I could very well be wrong, but since the data are not published anywhere, in order to make an opinion of mine I have nothing else but a guess....
Now, assuming that I am right, and that the revenues from Transfer tokens are by far a lot more than the sales from the staff, then it comes as a consequence that any change that would affect the tokens sales would harm UO considerably more than any change to the staff.
But of course, only after knowing the actual figures it would be possible to make up one's own mind on the issue better........

What does that have to do with it, revenue is revenue, oh as long as it does not affect ones purse
so its ok NOT to have game code shard shields as if affects EA income, but it IS ok, to have rechargable staff to make life easier for you, that is clear to everyone know
