First, in the chat.log, there needs to be differentiation between PARTY, ALLIANCE, GUILD, and CHAT so that it doesn't all look like speech. Might I suggest a simple [P], [A], [G], and [C] or [Party], [Alliance], [Guild], and [Chat] placed just prior to the person's name? This kind of thing is useful to us RPers who pull logs and post them for review of events or meetings and such. Not having that information makes it difficult to keep things separate. And being a programmer myself, I'm going to go out on a very strong, sturdy limb here and say this would take all of five minutes to implement. Ten for me because I'd have to learn the language.
Second... can we get access to more of the API, and get some of the stuff back (if improved) that we had access to in KR, such as, in my case, the plant menu.
Oh, and actually, third... which might take a little longer... but support add-on directories like WoW does... don't make us pick and choose a single active interface. The whole idea behind a customizable interface is to be able to customize components, not having to guess how to mix them with someone else's and pray they work. Yeah, you sometimes have to go and shut some down to check compatibility, but the current LUA implementation in the EC is... lacking.
I honestly would like to adapt to using the EC full time... but there are several things standing in my way of doing so. Number one on my list here though is a huge one.
Thanks much!!!
