First, in the chat.log, there needs to be differentiation between PARTY, ALLIANCE, GUILD, and CHAT so that it doesn't all look like speech. Might I suggest a simple [P], [A], [G], and [C] or [Party], [Alliance], [Guild], and [Chat] placed just prior to the person's name? This kind of thing is useful to us RPers who pull logs and post them for review of events or meetings and such. Not having that information makes it difficult to keep things separate. And being a programmer myself, I'm going to go out on a very strong, sturdy limb here and say this would take all of five minutes to implement. Ten for me because I'd have to learn the language. ;)

Second... can we get access to more of the API, and get some of the stuff back (if improved) that we had access to in KR, such as, in my case, the plant menu.

Oh, and actually, third... which might take a little longer... but support add-on directories like WoW does... don't make us pick and choose a single active interface. The whole idea behind a customizable interface is to be able to customize components, not having to guess how to mix them with someone else's and pray they work. Yeah, you sometimes have to go and shut some down to check compatibility, but the current LUA implementation in the EC is... lacking.

I honestly would like to adapt to using the EC full time... but there are several things standing in my way of doing so. Number one on my list here though is a huge one.

Thanks much!!!

This is already done, last patch I believe. You have to set the options in the individual character user settings now, but each can have a different mod running.

And you are welcome!

That's news to me... and I haven't seen any evidence of that capability in the client.
If it's there, that would be great - then I could greatly reduce our dependencies on our CustomSettings hack.

Ahh... my mistake. I just checked it... this does not work with the Default mod, but does work with Copper_Enhanced and Stone_Enhanced mods... I can run each of these two mods on separate characters. I wasn't aware that a hack was being used to get this to work.

Thanks for the correction Gildar

That's not what I mean at all, and is even more confusing and less useful.

What I mean is you should be able to drop in any number of mods and use them all at once.

So if I have a mod for item highlighting, a mod for tracking points on a map, and a mod for recording book text, I should be able to install all three of them to their own directories, and all three of them should work. Yes, give me an interface so I can turn one or more off, but this whole, "You may choose one interface/mod" thing is... lacking.

No...... you people don't get it...

I want to run the Copper Enhanced client..... but I also want to use someone else's icon pack.... BOTH AT THE SAME TIME ON THE SAME CHARACTER! That's total BS that you can only use ONE Mod... how ******** is that!
