Is it better to have Eval on the char or not when I'm spamming debuffs on my pet to raise resist?

Honestly, the quickest way to raise magic resist is to go to Haven and have your pet tag 10+ spellbinders.
Shouldn't take more then half an hour to get it from 50's to 100.

yeah, 10 spellbinders debuffing > you manually casting weaken lol

only issue is when some jokester comes along and decides to be a ****** and kill all your spellbinders for kicks since you're in tram. i would recommend leading the spellbinders away and doing it more remote.

Having Eval Int (or none) does not make a difference in training your pet's resist. As others have pointed out, it is faster to have multiple casters targeting your pet.
