TOS Agreement ...read it fast

Well, now that I've read the new EULA and know exactly what I'm agreeing to, I'll log in, accepting it, and play the game.

They should let people know the current EULA is available in the client files.

Well I'm glad it was all just a big copy and paste scandal. Lesson learned for the person who decided to right out copy it though. We old gamers used to play on pen and paper. Yes we can and do actually read

From what I read it's all pretty standard stuff. I think it was more just to add something to the game startup, as most people claim to not have read the rules / tos. Just a standard legal document that says if you become addicted, it's not our fault. And you wont use our property for self gain.

Was about a year ago..... shortly after they backburnered Landmark in favor of developing EQ:Next only to sell out to Daybreak Games... and then Daybreak opted to stop production of EQ:Next ticking off half the people playing Landmark... since most of them are diehard EQ fans and were pretty boned about Next getting axed... for not being "fun"... At which point they then opted to toss Landmark out as a finished product no longer in Beta... and revert all the parts that made it "fun"... taking out most of combat all of the progression and pretty much take most the content back to alpha... Go figure.

Daybreak certainly hasn't had a perfect track record, though this is news to me.. not that I've been following eq:n/landmark though I knew of their existence

1. The Terms of Service that is now present in the log in process has been corrected and you will also be able to view a Japanese version of the Terms of Service.
2. We have also fixed a crash reported by the players involving the Enhanced client and containers.

Clearly a copy/paste error. Even if we never get confirmation, thats pretty horrendous. I guess, all these bugs that get fixed and new content they come up with every day are taking up so much time they decided to plagiarise a competitors ToS for our benefit.
