Did you even read the thread before you posted?Trammies go to a idoc thinking ooo ya loot, being trammies they go uninsured.....
Reds come along and say ooo uninsured suit, I know I check trammies when I see em in fel.
Next thing you know a trammie has their whole blue guild crying about a bug or exploit and wah wah wah I lost my whole suit other people are hacking cry cry cry, post on stratics and cry cry cry.
Honestly whats more trammie then that?
Who hasn't seen this before raise their hand.![]()
Had it been a lax in insurance gold, I wouldn't have bothered posting this. insured/blessed suits HAVE dropped before and four cases happened in a 16 hour period. You are willing to simply write it off as mere stupidity for all cases? There is no bug, there is no hack. There is stupidity and embarrassment. I've dropped a couple of suits over the years and it's because I either forgot to turn on auto-renew or I didn't have enough gold in the bank.
It happens.
People are just to embarrassed to admit that they messed up so they cry foul play.
IDK who exactly we are talking about here but the one guy you even admitted on ICQ you were giving insurance gold. You say that one guy is a pvper... couldn't it be possible that those who claim they are not pvpers and not used to the environment could have easily made mistakes such as this, since your pvper guy obviously did?Had it been a lax in insurance gold, I wouldn't have bothered posting this. insured/blessed suits HAVE dropped before and four cases happened in a 16 hour period. Yea well I dissagree. I dropped a full suit once when I crashed while picking up a large stack of fish steaks. The suit was fully insured and there was 30 mil or so in the bank. My character was over weight until a GM removed the fish steaks from a hidden backpack on my character and I had to loot the suit with another character while wiating for the GM so I checked the insurance when I picked the items up.There is no bug, there is no hack. There is stupidity and embarrassment. I've dropped a couple of suits over the years and it's because I either forgot to turn on auto-renew or I didn't have enough gold in the bank.

I think y'all are missing the point here:I've forwarded this thread, and subsequently the issue, along to be investigated.

Yes, I am.Had it been a lax in insurance gold, I wouldn't have bothered posting this. insured/blessed suits HAVE dropped before and four cases happened in a 16 hour period. You are willing to simply write it off as mere stupidity for all cases?
No blessed items dropped in this case.. Nystul showed pictures of the alleged 'blessed' items. Now there is a bug that removes the blessed property too?Sounds like you speak from experience.
Blessed items have nothing to do with insurance.
Wow I guess Nystul showing pictures of some of the stuff he has must be concrete evidence that there were no blessed items that dropped. I am glad you do not work in our legal system sir.No blessed items dropped in this case.. Nystul showed pictures of the alleged 'blessed' items. Now there is a bug that removes the blessed property too?
No blessed items dropped in this case..
Wow..so you were there at all the occurrences and confirmed with each and every person this occurred to that no blessed items were dropped? You sir are amazing!
This whole thread is a complete farce. It's more than obvious that these people were ill prepared to venture into Felucca got killed a bunch of times and their auto insurance either turned off due to lack of funds or maybe they had newer chars they had recently soulstoned skills onto and had never enabled toggle auto insurance. Which would allow the items to stay with them on their first death but drop to the ground upon their SECOND death! Those are the two most common reasons for this happening. It's happened to "almost" everyone at one point or another.Out of all the years I've been pvping, the hundreds of thousands of people I've killed
One thing about Nystul, love him or hate him, if he has blessed items someone dropped he would have shown them.Wow I guess Nystul showing pictures of some of the stuff he has must be concrete evidence that there were no blessed items that dropped. I am glad you do not work in our legal system sir.
So you naively believe statements and claims of a bug/hack that causes insured items and blessed items to fall to corpses and remove the blessed property - yet NO ONE is able to recreate it? You sir are amazing.Wow..so you were there at all the occurrences and confirmed with each and every person this occurred to that no blessed items were dropped? You sir are amazing!
That may be true. But considering he has to lie about the number of people he's PKed. I mean seriously 100's of thousands LOL. It does put his honesty into question somewhat....One thing about Nystul, love him or hate him, if he has blessed items someone dropped he would have shown them.
I have to throw you a bone sometimes just so you know I still care.I just blushed IRL due to your infatuation with me!
Ive had it happen to me, saw it first hand.So you naively believe statements and claims of a bug/hack that causes insured items and blessed items to fall to corpses and remove the blessed property - yet NO ONE is able to recreate it? You sir are amazing.
All I posted, was that 3 suits had fallen in a short period of time. My thoughts were that it is a hack OR bug. I for sure know that things did not happen as intended game mechanics wise. I never said that anyone was running around and dropping suits at will. I was stating that three players dropped their suits and it had nothing to do with lack of insurance. Wherever you people take this from here is up to you.If there were an exploit/hack there would be items(weapons/armor/jewlery) falling in Fel DAILY.. Do you people not realize this?
I can when people are sending mass ICQs making accusations. People you work closely with. All I posted, was that 3 suits had fallen in a short period of time. Perhaps you needn't worry about being so defensive as no accusations have been posted here.
That is just it Lynk. When it happens no properties have been removed. I personally have looted insured items from the the corpses or others. The issue simply ignores the insurance property or the blessed property and drops the items. They are still insured when picked up.No blessed items dropped in this case.. Nystul showed pictures of the alleged 'blessed' items. Now there is a bug that removes the blessed property too?
Not necessarily. It might not work all the time, it might work only under very particular conditions, as many exploits are wont to do. The last insurance hack I heard of specifically had a fairly easy way to block it, but not everyone is necessarily aware of that fix.If there were an exploit/hack there would be items(weapons/armor/jewlery) falling in Fel DAILY.. Do you people not realize this?
Your logic is skewed Lynk.So you naively believe statements and claims of a bug/hack that causes insured items and blessed items to fall to corpses and remove the blessed property - yet NO ONE is able to recreate it? You sir are amazing.
lol...I've forwarded this thread, and subsequently the issue, along to be investigated.
Thanks!
Show me one legit screenshot that show's a corpse full of insured and/or blessed items.Your logic is skewed Lynk.
Do you believe the moon exists or the Sun? You cannot recreat those things, no one can but you have seen them. Some of us have seen the effects of the insurance bug. I have also dropped things I forgot to insure but when you open a corpse and loot items that say they are insured you have witnessed someone being affected by the insurance bug. I have seen this.
Come on man, you killed no where near that many. You killed 70 characters and still lost the raid? Please....lol... they died at LEAST 70 times total between everyone added up. it don't take a rocket scientist to figure out what's going on here.
