think i lost my pet

i logged in today (havent logged in for a week or so)
no pet. i think i logged out outside my house in new mag.
perhaps he de-tamed at that time - i could not find him today.

Someone left a dragon at the 2nd level Bridge Troll of Shame, which I removed because it was a problem. It was not named: a greater dog.
I not sure how you loss your pet, do people log off with their pets in play? What happens to these pets? Is there a problem with pet balls?

i was in new mag outside my house by about 10 squares. my dragon was inside my house. i just closed out my game window.
normaly i walk inside my house before doing that.
time of day was mid-day around 5pm EST

Probably gone, bro. I had the same thing happen in Makoto. I think it's possible the npc's in town kept your char logged in even if your client was shut down. AGD couldn't see you so he went wild super quick.

Yes, A Greater Dog went wild a little over a week ago. I pointed it out to someone who was passing by. He was stuck inside your house, or I would've attempted to re-tame him for you.

As for the one in shame, he was there on a rescue mission, and the tamer forgot to bring lore. After too many failed commands, he went wild and we abandoned him. (Rescue mission, however, was a success!)
