Ug der 'Oomies.
Without sounding like I'm moaning, or complaining, I would like to make this post a good, bad, good sandwich. For the last three months, as almost everyone is aware by my constant promotion and shilling of our small band of Orcs, we have been building a city for Orcs in a mostly successful attempt at reviving what was once and still is a treasured part of Ultima Online history. You all have been absolutely outstanding, generous, and knowledgeable in helping us in this endeavor, and for that we are extremely grateful. Thanks from us for helping us out in that department and allowing us to build our little shanty town in Malas unmolested.
That said, with things like this, there is always one player who attempts to ruin the fun for everyone with their own stupid shenanigans. For the record, I will not name this player, but most of you already know who it is. We have to temporarily shut down the Orc Bazaar inside of our fort, and are furthermore disallowing any humans from visiting our area of operations until further notice. This is to preserve the remaining singular plot of land inside of our Fort that now has to be the location of our city stone, because the aforementioned player decided to plop down a gigantic borg cube so he can throw shatter potions into our bazaar at customers and cover up all of our vendors with his obnoxious cube of concrete.
If anyone knows this player, and could get him to adjust fire and wage his little private war from outside of our immediate area, that would be great. All Orcs inside of the Fort will, moving forward, be ignoring this player in chat and game until he stops having fun being a moron and decides to take his ball and go home. He may not realize it, because he is fully self-absorbed and seems to think that he is playing a single player game, but he is severely hindering the role-play for a dozen players with his actions, and hurting our ability to show screen shots of what we have created to other potential orcs in an attempt to wake them up. We may end up losing one Orc over this today as well whom I spoke to in private, as they were strictly in this for the immersion and role-playing aspect, which has been completely broken.
That said, and ending on a better note, I have purchased a home inside of the Luna Walls and our Bazaar is now operating there. The location is on the south wall, and you can't miss our Orcish clad vendors selling their wares. Over the next few days and weeks, more vendors will be popping up there, and more stock will be placed on them. If any of you would like to swing by and blah Ug, by all means please do so.
