Ug der 'Oomies.

Without sounding like I'm moaning, or complaining, I would like to make this post a good, bad, good sandwich. For the last three months, as almost everyone is aware by my constant promotion and shilling of our small band of Orcs, we have been building a city for Orcs in a mostly successful attempt at reviving what was once and still is a treasured part of Ultima Online history. You all have been absolutely outstanding, generous, and knowledgeable in helping us in this endeavor, and for that we are extremely grateful. Thanks from us for helping us out in that department and allowing us to build our little shanty town in Malas unmolested.

That said, with things like this, there is always one player who attempts to ruin the fun for everyone with their own stupid shenanigans. For the record, I will not name this player, but most of you already know who it is. We have to temporarily shut down the Orc Bazaar inside of our fort, and are furthermore disallowing any humans from visiting our area of operations until further notice. This is to preserve the remaining singular plot of land inside of our Fort that now has to be the location of our city stone, because the aforementioned player decided to plop down a gigantic borg cube so he can throw shatter potions into our bazaar at customers and cover up all of our vendors with his obnoxious cube of concrete.

If anyone knows this player, and could get him to adjust fire and wage his little private war from outside of our immediate area, that would be great. All Orcs inside of the Fort will, moving forward, be ignoring this player in chat and game until he stops having fun being a moron and decides to take his ball and go home. He may not realize it, because he is fully self-absorbed and seems to think that he is playing a single player game, but he is severely hindering the role-play for a dozen players with his actions, and hurting our ability to show screen shots of what we have created to other potential orcs in an attempt to wake them up. We may end up losing one Orc over this today as well whom I spoke to in private, as they were strictly in this for the immersion and role-playing aspect, which has been completely broken.

That said, and ending on a better note, I have purchased a home inside of the Luna Walls and our Bazaar is now operating there. The location is on the south wall, and you can't miss our Orcish clad vendors selling their wares. Over the next few days and weeks, more vendors will be popping up there, and more stock will be placed on them. If any of you would like to swing by and blah Ug, by all means please do so.

Maaaaan, we had some orcs doing orc stuff on ATL for a while. It was always fun fighting them. They cracked my butt up.

Yup always one. Sorry it’s happening to you. It’s the reason we aren’t there right now and letting some of the houses fall that we were keeping open for all to use. We will add friends to the ones we kept but the majority of the houses we have are now private.

are you saying Billy Buttons caused you to turn Tyrath's houses to private by placing a house near them? Not sure I understand what you're saying...

there is a long tradition of people griefing orcs with such tactics. It happened back in the days of shadowclan as well. What's particularly funny in this case is that the owner won't even leave the house because he's so scared but claims he "brought the battle to you". What a sad old man trying hard to be relevant and getting his bottom (or should I say Button) handed to him every time...

Oh no. Not that. People have messaged me here on stratics and what is being said is just people being jerks (no swearing lol) and giving me crap for keeping tyraths houses open. I will gladly add people to the houses if they would like. Reds and blues alike. I don’t mind adding people but the jerks here that are mad that I was trying to keep tyraths setups alive just annoying and not worth it to me. They get what they want and the houses aren’t public to them.

The orcs are being orcs but someone will try to ruin others fun. Did you provoke the attack or just people being jerks like that.

Just ignore him and he will quickly grow tired of being a loser. Or he's use to it. But seriously if everyone ignores him he won't find any enjoyment in the game and will just be wasting his time. Sounds to me like Billy Buttons doesn't want to progress on siege anymore.

Yeah, I could care less if the guy was looking for a real fight, the thing that bothers me is he chose to put a massive Borg cube where our new clan rock was going to be placed, and he made the largest possible house purposely to cover our vendors.

*shrugs*

I put him on /ignore last night, and advised the Orcs to do the same. He refuses to flag on anyone inside of the fort, so we’ll just ignore his presence until he decides it’s not fun anymore.

Dat dummee iz a pushdog panzee Har! I honestly dont mind if he places in the fort or not. I find it kinda funny that he is so effected by some orcs that he either dropped another house or opened up another account to try and get back at us. I am surprised that someone hadn't dropped a plot down before tbh

Having a squatter in ye're city is kinda also a recognition on Siege that ye are a real city lol. It's happened to every true player city, we had the UWSP sweat shop hahaha. Some get burning squares etc.
Anyway usually such ridiculous stuff clears up on its own after awhile.
