The snow needs to go

Maybe it is just me, but I find the snow on the ground in UO to be a rather large annoyance. There are so many places where the tiles just don't look right and it really cheapens the look of the game. Not that UO is graphically advanced to begin with, but at least the standard grass has a uniform look to it.

The snow looks like a half-baked effort and is kept in place way too long. I would be ok with a couple weeks around Christmas, but several months of snow is just too much. I will understand if nobody else agrees with me, but I just wanted to voice my opinion and get it off my chest.

PS - It is snowing outside (again) as I type this, so that probably isn't helping my opinion of the UO snow.

i despise winter....also hate the uo snow. like you said would be fine around the month of december. i hate not being able to see my dot on the mini map while im out hunting houses.....and all in all im just sick of snow... "also typing this as im watching flurries float down to the 6 or so inches still covering everything else outside"..........i actually avoid Ice Island if at all possible due to my dislike of snow....

March is good. Although I don't mind snow in game in December/January, I don't miss it once it's gone. In fact, about the only place I like to see snow is in UO, or on a holiday greeting card.

I agree, it's time for it to be gone. I like the snow for maybe 2-3 weeks around the holidays, but overall, it causes lag and makes items/tames etc exceedingly difficult to find.

This is for those people like Nabin who like the snow. This is my house and back yard - I just spent two hours blowing snow and shoveling it off the roof, plowing a path to the barn.

My folks have had a cabin in Tahoe and Arnold for years. I am pretty familiar with the drill. Nice thing is we don't live in it full time.

I once got bugged and had snow until July. I'd only just formatted my gaming PC so I couldn't be bothered to uninstall UO to sort it out. Was very annoying

I hate the snow as well...then a picture like this from our vaca home drops.... And it doesn't snow often in NC. But WOW!
