With any luck, Draconi got a new box of matches in his Christmas stocking. Or a few mines to toss in front of offending players and make 'em go *poof*.ehehehehehe... sucks to be those that paid hundreds of thousands of gold for them...great for those that benefited from a game glitch... as usual =P
Now when do we get a fix to all the Scripters in PvP and tile jumpers? Now that's an EYE SORE.
This is just a little bit extreme don't you think? Some people decided to indulge in a little frivolous decoration that wasn't harming in any way to anyone and you want to burn their houses and characters to the ground? With any luck, Draconi got a new box of matches in his Christmas stocking. I think we really should start the new year with a few bonfires, I hear cheats are quite combustible...
Wenchy
I wasn't referring to the swampie dyers, but replying to another poster's suggestion about tackling other cheating in game. This is just a little bit extreme don't you think? Talk about a witch hunt.....
My mistake then, and my apologies.I wasn't referring to the swampie dyers, but replying to another poster's suggestion about tackling other cheating in game.
*chuckles*Thanks for making the announcment a week after it happened. God knows no one spent money on buying dyed pieces.
They run the game, didn't help they were on vacation. Thanks for making the announcment a week after it happened. God knows no one spent money on buying dyed pieces.
Notice: Anyone who dyed their swamp dragon armor deeds with the Dyes of Tokuno, and then created neon pets, will find their swampies reverted to Iron in the near future.
The use of dyes in this manner is not intended.
Which is why I generally resort to fire.*chuckles*
Damned if you do; damned if you don't.

There are days when I think that might be a good thing to have in my job.Which is why I generally resort to fire.
Did you get coal for Christmas?Which is why I generally resort to fire.*chuckles*

All those players have to do is ask for their gold back, right? Thanks for making the announcment a week after it happened. God knows no one spent money on buying dyed pieces.
It went quite nicely with the fire (just kidding. Kilandra spoils me)Did you get coal for Christmas?![]()
Draconi answered this question in another thread located here. What about dragon barding deeds that are dyed by slimes? Will those also be reverted back? Draconi did say "with the Dyes of Tokuno". I hope not because the dark blue looks awesome on my swampie. IMO![]()
Actually there's more to it than the 255/255 durability, as mine with such durability cannot be dyed. So "give it a rest" is rude and unnecessary in this instance.Replicas over 150: Most Likely, the 155 was a typo, and 255 was meant. Give it a rest.
You mean the Tokuno pigments that should be available to everyone in ALL colors? The Tokuno pigments that are consumables and can't be replenished because a few people think they can dictate what others wear and deco with?I might be naive, but I thought this colored barding deed was intended as a result of the new slime. What's so bad about a colored dragon?
Why not make it that the 20% damage absorption gets nerfed if it's dyed or something?
Wouldn't this be an additional way to get use out of the Tokuno pigments?
I have to agree. I don't see why some people have to dictate how others look. Everyone pays to play, don't they? You mean the Tokuno pigments that should be available to everyone in ALL colors? The Tokuno pigments that are consumables and can't be replenished because a few people think they can dictate what others wear and deco with?
*sorry to use your post as an example, but the whole anti ToT1 dyes really gets to me*
I tried and tried to run KR. Even with the endless hours of patching on dialup last year. I tried this year when I got a faster connection. I finally solved the problem. I deleted KR from my computer.Way to jump all over this game stopping issue. It gave me something to laugh about at least, while I sit here and download over a gig of KR patches, only to be disappointed again when I try to log in and KR Lag to holy he77 and back...
I dont think they will be impacted. Im pretty sure you are supposed to be able to dye that stuff with tok dyes. I think that you were able to do that way before you could do the swampy thing.Draconi, what will happen to other types of crafter deeds - example beds, water troughs, arcane cirices? House decorators love to use the tokuno dyes on various deeds. Are they safe or will they be impacted too?![]()

They may not intend to do it, but possibly dyed deeds could be affected anyways. And we all know what a high priority fixing accidental broken deco is, especially if it was never intended to be a certain way to begin with. If they fix swamp deeds and in doing so it accidentally ends up fixing all deeds I doubt it will ever get changed back. Which would make me really, really, really sad.I dont think they will be impacted. Im pretty sure you are supposed to be able to dye that stuff with tok dyes. I'm guessing this was fixed sooner because it was way more visible and noticed.
Exactly, hacks and scripts would take months of research coding and testing to implement changes. A colour change (not that im computer literate to that extent) surely would just take a slight change of code.Actually I'm guessing this is fixed sooner because it's a two minute, easy to do fix.
Sometimes the criteria for fixing stuff isn't how important it is, but how easy it is to accomplish. Or don't any of you have situations like that in your own jobs? Where stuff, though important, has to wait till you have enough time available, but something minor gets fixed because it takes virtually no time at all?
Dying the shrouds was intended. If they are gonna take the color off the swamp dragons then they should take it off the shrouds as well.
