Heading out to stock my vendors this morning I arrived at Yew gate to find a few blues clustered around it and a red just at the edge of the screen, between me and the tower.

Brainless decision No. 1. Instead of retreating to come back later, I decide to go to the tower.

So the red gives chase (naturally)

Brainless decision No. 2. Instead of turning round and heading back for the safety of the gate I keep going towards the tower.

Obviously I don't manage to get the door shut before he follows me in.

Bright idea number 1. I set up a macro for 'remove thyself' to get hostile people out of the tower
Brainless response: Took 2 attempts to remember the right keys for it.
Useless co-ordination: Failed to target attacker's life bar once I got the target cursor.

Result: I got my just desserts for being such a total numpty.

Ah well, I think I've got enough bloodwood for about another 8 suits.

Despite a certain amount of hinderance. Only this time I managed to use the 'remove thyself' macro and my replacement bloodwood suit sustained me till the poison wore off. I do love my bloodwood!

No more arrows left though, my hubby has had me slaving over a hot stove all day so I couldn't collect feathers.

I seem to think I mentioned that the main cause of my demise was my own stupidity. I didn't name the red who killed me this morning, nor have I named the red who's attack I just now managed to survive.
