gimme a shout...ill slip ya some funds for a small one to get ya on the siege map!I've been looking in Siege lately, just because if I find it's fun I can now look forward to someday placing a house there - though it'll be a fair while off with Siege prices for everything, and my primary 'commitment' for UO is always going to be Europa. Still, it's been interesting so far....
Hehehheee theres more than 2 castle spots open on origin..pretty damn sure of that.....There were serious 2 Castle Spots open on Origin? An people said Siege was dead.. Holy crap.

1k is easy made, even for a newbie with no skill. Take a look at the stall (Bazaar) vendors in New Magincia, they buy most stackable.Went to place a house a few hours ago and after buying to placement tool I was 1k short of a small plot. Story of my life...
What about me?Not from you ... Not from StarNightGoku... or what ever ya call yerself.
Good to have you!I've never been a fan of Siege Perilous because I don't like dying and getting drylooted. But I had been growing tired of Legends as of late and actually set my account to not renew at the end of this current cycle. However, I went to SP to check it out more fully since I was able to finally make a house instead of always being a target for thieves/murderers. Having a house, even my tiny 7x7, is good for having a respite from the craziness of SP.
That being said, while it has only been a week, I haven't visited Legends at all, and I've been spending all my time on SP and can honestly say I am really enjoying myself. If you go into it with the mentality that you will be killed and looted it's easier to acclimate yourself to the shard. The number one rule of SP is 'don't carry or equip anything you can't afford to lose'. This is why I decided to make a thief--because they generally can run around naked and still utilize their skill-set. That, and because I've never made a thief before since on production shards you can't do much other than steal artifacts that decrease in value by the day.
There's also a certain excitement in knowing that if I put up a vendor (in New Magincia!), and sell wood, ingots, leather, etc., there will actually be a demand for them. And what people fail to mention I think, is that you really don't need as much gold on SP since there isn't much to buy. No one is going around with uber-million gold suits but instead using Shame gear and their precious Siege-Blessed sword/bow/whatnot.
Also of note, and I think people probably won't believe this until they actually visit SP, is that the people I've met so far have been really, really nice! I've gotten gold and armor, a soulstone fragment, and even an advanced character token, all simply because I was new. Now that's just crazy. So I'd say to all the naysayers and doubters: just give it a try. The worst that will happen is you die and never return, but the best that could happen is that you find a really fun community of people with a totally different playstyle!

Yes I have transferred two Siege houses to accounts with houses on production shards. No problems. I just need to know if I can transfer a siege house to a grandfathered account.Has anyone transffered a house on siege to a house that already has one on a production shard? Just want to make sure all is working ok before I transfer mine.
Thanks for the reply!! As for your question, I would e-mail Messanna or post it in the ask devs section here.Yes I have transferred two Siege houses to accounts with houses on production shards. No problems. I just need to know if I can transfer a siege house to a grandfathered account.

This post from Fogsbane should answer that questionYes I have transferred two Siege houses to accounts with houses on production shards. No problems. I just need to know if I can transfer a siege house to a grandfathered account.
Thanks for the offer, but first I need to spend more time there deciding if I like the place - I'm not keen to take a house spot that a more enthusiastic fan of Siege could use. I may get back to you if I find it's fun playing there though, if I don't manage to become rich enough in the processgimme a shout...ill slip ya some funds for a small one to get ya on the siege map!
Right now, there is room for more, so lets see, if it get a problem, then Mesanna will have to help usI'm starting to wonder how many unused houses are going to clutter the land now and not decay just because someone placed one due to the fact they can have 2.
