I'd love an auction house on siege. If someone tries to out bid you just kill em! If that fails, steal the dumb item after they pay for it.

actually, yes there are enough people that play Siege. The only issue would be finding the right time to have it. Lots of people on Siege play from different time zones, and Countries, so finding the perfect time would be the key.
Being banned from an auction house will generate the need for more accounts. Good plan. We need more with this playstyle to generate funds to hire more code mages. I had a player ask to have his bann lifted from my auction house tens years later. He had a good point, "I'm 23 now and not that stupid kid anymore."I'd love an auction house on siege. Start a new character. Playing fresh with nothing and earning enough gold to put up a house. Sounds like reawaking of old characters more then new prospectors. Oh I assume its people who already played. I'm just hoping the reason they stopped playing was that they felt like they needed a house, so now they may play regularly.
I'm sure there are a handful of real newbs around because of this change though.
well im giving it a go...was always gonna be hard without a house.....im kinda hanging around the house area at mo. taking on mediumn monsters raising mage etc to be able to gate around the world will be far easier than running it.....collecting odd armours and jewels etc

To all who placed on Siege P I wish you welcome ..... Shard is very friendly...
I have one small question for a floating Dev or Petra... what about a multi house account placing on siege... one friend has only 1 account and it has multiple homes on production shards... if he places on siege will it effect him?
As for stuff for getting around.... many have shops on mag... and have bought around some gates while in guard zones.

From what I have been told, placing a house on Siege will not affect grandfathered houses on other shards. But I don't want to be the first one to test it.
Gate Scrolls
- New Mag Stall F1 (http://www.uoguide.com/File:New_magincia_stall_locations.png) is generally stocked with 50
- New Mag Plots SE2, SE4, C2 generally sell gate scrolls (http://www.uoguide.com/File:New_magincia_plots.png)
- Minoc Gate vendor (not sure if its actively maintained)
I also would like to know that, I would hate to log on one day and find one or more have fallen

I believe they splitted the house server so Siege houses don't effect prodo shards, just like Test Center houses don't effect Prodo houses or Siege houses.
So you can place one house on Prodo, one on Siege/Mugen and one on TC.
If I'm right, placing a Siege house won't effect grandfathered houses on Prodo just like a house on TC won't effect Prodo

Has anyone transferred a Siege house to an account with a production house? Or does this new rule only work if you place new?
I transferred a Siege house to my main account (I already have a house on Atlantic) and no probs.
I've had a keep and a tower transferred to my toons, no problems on either of my previously main shard's homes (a keep and an customizable 18x18). Been living in a borrowed Keep since I started, it's nice to actually have one to call my own now! Even though I had the storage of a borrowed keep I've been living out of my bank box for the past two years.
On a side note it is a bit odd to actually see normal banter on the chat channel rather then the nonstop trash talking from the same people. I keep forgetting where I am!
i ran around briefly on sat morning looking to place around the same place my prodo shard house is. was met by a red sl guy who moving shotted me in short order. it was sorta funny cause i had no macros set. he helped himself to my brightsights but pretty much left everything else alone. my fault but was funny just the same.
If new to Siege, remember to get in contact with the guild Newborn on Siege, NEW2. We will help you get startet and the NEW2 tag will give you some protections vs PK's, your first month on Siege.
Some may still kill you but will leave your items on your body and try to rez you if they can. Sure there may come some new reds or wake up some old one, I don't have a deal with yet, but I will do my best to to tell them about NEW2 and that they get advance from NEW2 too if they let the young sheeps grow up before they kill them.

There were serious 2 Castle Spots open on Origin? An people said Siege was dead.. Holy crap.
I have successfully placed a house on Siege Perilous with a Grandfathered account.
(The account has Grandfathered housing on shards other than Siege Perilous).
When placing the house on Siege Perilous I received, and ignored, the Warning message about condemning all other houses on all shards.
My Grandfathered housing on other shards does not seem to have been affected by the Siege Perilous house placement - and all looks good so far.
My thanks Fogsbane I shall give my friend the news he is free to join in the new neighborhood on Siege.

I'm focused on Europa RP atm and may or may not gather up money to place a house on Siege, if I do I wanna build and run a player tavern.. All I wanna say though is make your homes look really good please! Nobody on Siege wants to see an f'ugly borg cube!
Today marks the 5th day of placement on Seige.
More importantly if there is going to be a problem today will be the day it will occur do the mechanics of IDOCing.
Unlike all of you I am not convinced my 2nd house will not cycle because the sign says it isn't.
Do you all really believe they tested it and waited all those days?
Also if there is a actual problem today expect a global revert.

I don't think its probably all that complicated. They simply put the siege houses on a different server like test center.
Kelmo owns the Siege Hub just outside the east gate of Umbra. He also owns the western Abyss plot, which is open to the public and is one of the houses linked from the Hub.

Just want to take the time to thank all the Seige players and especially the New2 leadership. Placed a house there on carrick, and in just a few short days, have a keep, a greater thats bonding, and made 2 other chars for Siege. The community there is wonderful!
Siege players are friendly ... yes we have death... but its not like normal shards

Question: I have a few grandfathered house accounts on siege.. and one house I would like to change from a chalet to a customizable one think it is safe now to do it? I didn't want to toss any I have into a tizzy if it messes up.
