Haha , that death scene doest look exactly like my experiments this morning. That frenzied whirlwind thing is pretty annoying in combination with the wisps.
That guy alone is doable, those wisps in combination with ugly combos are what makes it complicated.
Btw confusion blast might have saved you. Also turning off eoo, doesnt cost mana. Not wanting to critize, looking for ideas myself.
I believe that place is doable with right temp and enough practice and patience.But yes, night terrors look like a mongbat compared to that fight.

Yes, it doesn't cost mana... but you need to have mana to do it.
I did it solo several times.
The last time I did it without honor. (another annoying bug... I got message "you started honorable combat" but didn't get honor bonus)
Had my Tamer down there playing around a bit. The Paralithode tameables down there are quite strong, they seem about on par with a Greater Dragon and you can have two of them. Can't leave the place and they need training up but a curious option!

I didn't make video of the first half. It took about 2x more time (I started with 20 STR/DEX potions). At beginning it moves like a rocket and cast like a machine gun. After I drain its mana and stamina it becomes much friendly.

I have also seen Players down there with their Grt dragons....so that is a tanking option....but not a soloing option!
Really?! I don't see how they can, you can't enter the region with followers. Unless pet balls circumvent that (never use them so don't know)
so looks like it took you less the 30 mins...with a single character. That is truly impressive! Even more impressive is the amount of information the Enhanced client gives you during the battle....More and more I am thinking of moving in that direction.
